Plus, I reminisce about my childhood cookout memories and the love and jubilee spread during those times. Finally, it's the Wrap Up. Let's be honest, 24 hours in a day isn't enough for most people to do any and all things they want to do. We talk about the origins of time. how your circadian rhythm plays into that effect and why the tern "CPT" is actually detrimental to Black culture. I also give a break down of what my daily schedule looks like and why I think 30 hours of Mars still wouldn't be enough to accomplish what I would want to do. Then it's the Wrap Up.

In this first episode of the new year and first episode of this series, I explore more of the nerdier side of things and that is comic books. We've all heard Captain America, Iron Man, Spiderman, Superman, etc. But what about Lion Man? Ace Harlem? Lobo? Luke Cage, Black Panther? Spawn? These are just some of the most influential black comic book characters that we in the black community have come to appreciate. We talk about the origin of black superheroes, the first Black comic book, how it lead to the creation of black superheroes in comics and how those creations have lead to the landscape we have today of Black Comic book characters. I also talk about my favorite Black Comic book characters and my favorite non-Black Comic book character (who, in a sense, can relate to the Black struggle). In this year's SBM Holiday Special, I go over my Top 5 favorite Black Christmas Movies. This list, I feel like, is a list that most of the African-American community can agree on as well as some of those in the Caucasian community as well. Some movies were left off, (not intentionally of course), 2 were honorable mentions and 1 got dragged through the mud because of how not funny it is (you know what movie you are).
