Hosts Dave Borchardt, Chad Reynolds and Aly Trost marvel at the crowd reaction to the upset and debate the merits of handing out a red card during a friendly (there are NO MERITS), all while trying to figure out who the announcers think "Teal Burnbury" is.

Heroic moments from Mo Johnston, Tony Meola and the "Danish Dynamo" Miklos Molnar lead the Wizards to the MLS Cup in dramatic golden-goal fashion.

In this debut "SKC Classics" episode of The Final Whistle, Dave, Chad, and Aly relive and break down one of the highest-scoring matches in MLS history, a 1996 6-4 thriller between the Wiz and Columbus Crew. 

Tied 1-1 at the break, the Wiz and Crew traded goals throughout the second half. Kansas City trailed 4-2 in the 65th minute, only to score four unanswered and take the 6-4 victory in a dramatic come-from-behind effort. Sporting Legends Preki and Mo Johnston each bagged a brace, Johnston in his debut, with all six Wiz goals coming in spectacular fashion.

Two goals on both sides of halftime propelled Sporting Kansas City (2-0-0, 6 points) to a comprehensive 4-0 victory over rivals Houston Dynamo (0-1-1, 1 points) in an electric home opener at sold-out Children’s Mercy Park on Saturday night.

Sporting KC opened the 25th Major League Soccer season with an impressive 3-1 win over the Vancouver Whitecaps inside BC Place as newcomers Alan Pulido and Gadi Kinda each scored first-half goals in memorable debuts and Erik Hurtado put an exclamation point on the performance with a last-minute goal against his former club.
