Ep 84: True Singapore Ghost Stories #27

Ep 84: True Singapore Ghost Stories #27

Centre 42 and T42 present: The Gaza Monologues

Centre 42 and T42 present: The Gaza Monologues

In support of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, Centre 42 and T42 Podcast (Singapore) have heeded the call of Ashtar Theatre (Palestine) to present The Gaza Monologues. These monologues were written and performed by Gazan teenagers under Ashtar Theatre's mentorship to give voice to their horror, hope, and resilience in the face of the Israeli bombardment of Gaza in the years 2008 and 2009. It is now 2023, there is another war, and these monologues are still tragically accurate.
Please give generously to Ashtar Theatre's psycho-social intervention that uses theatre and psychology to express and mitigate the traumatic impact of the current war on Gaza.:

We dropped off a bit to take care of our mental health, amongst other things, but are back with an episode we recorded over a month ago - don't worry, still fresh can eat. We discuss choices made during LKY's 100th birthday celebrations, religious alternatives to halloween, and how homophobia and the haze may be connected.
