Episode 18- Brodie Nitro’s Complete 360- From Prison to Entrepreneurship

Now, he is living on the complete other side of his past and is his own boss implementing real estate as well as online digital marketing and coaching providing business strategies to help others achieve freedom just as he did for himself.
He did a great job touching on how he began to recover from his past, how he improved his mental health and made the choice to not let his mistakes define him.
This guy has a great head on his shoulders! The sky is the limit for him just as it is for you despite where you have been in life.

Episode 17- Racism, Mental Health and Solutions with Nina Blaylock

Episode 17- Racism, Mental Health and Solutions with Nina Blaylock

As a white girl, having not experienced racism nor being around it, I can admit that I had little to no knowledge of the depths of racism and how it affects the mental health of those of color or other races in general. After doing some research, speaking with other people of color/ different races and being curious of the validity of racism still being prevalent in America despite this idea that “we have come a long ways as a country in past years to fight against racism”, I have gathered that it is in fact still heavily present in our country and world in general, unfortunately.
I was inspired due to recent events to have a special guest on today's episode- A woman of color who could help me, along with my audience clear the air as she shares on her experience and perspectives regarding racial traumas.
She did an incredible job using her powerful voice to paint a clear picture on this issue and how it affects the mental health of those negatively impacted by sharing her knowledge, wisdom and thoughts on solutions to help spread awareness, cancel racism and improve the mental health of those who have experienced it. If you like myself want to gain a whole new means of compassion and empathy for those of color and people of different nationalities who have been impacted by such injustices and inequalities,  this is a great and informative episode to tune into.
**Please note that due to internet connectivity issues, there are points where we talk over eachother but nonetheless, the message is there.
