Tales From El Buho Jan MIllsaps

Celine Wlasichuk is an immigration lawyer in Canada, a courageous climber and solo female traveler. This interview was recorded in spring os 2022, and since then she has continued to practice law and push herself on the rocks. 

Mike, Sean, and Shaefer talk about the growth of Potrero Chico, the growth of El Buho coffee shop, swap some stories of rescues, failed buddy systems, and advice for anybody coming down to rock climb at EPC.  This was such a fun podcast to record!

Shaefer Church is serving as the manager at El Buho for his second season, after one season as a volunteer barista. In this episode he opens up about his thoughts of topics ranging from refugees (based on his service at refugee camps in Afghanistan), immigration (based on his time in Mexico & Honduras), and racial injustices - the things that move and motivate him.  

He also talks about the recovery and rescue efforts of famed climber Brad Gobright, who unfortunately died in a climbing accident in November 2019.
