The month of March came with some ups & downs. Living as an adult, during a consistent pandemic, working form home & moving through what looks to be the beginnings of an impending WWIII is an outlandish reality...BUT your favorite neighborhood cartographer & black foodie are here to reflect on the past, laugh about the present & project what the future may look like. 

This episode explains how we ended up living in a world where gas is over $4/gallon, reflect in lessons we learned in past relationships & remind Big Band P that ain't nobody got time or energy for life to be anymore exhausting than it already is. 

2022 is showing her behind already, but we're along for the ride! Cheers to the consistency in podcast drops & some new changes that are on the way!

We're sick of saying we're back, so we've decided to say we re-branded, because we are working on that too!! But after ALMOST a YEAR of being gone, we decided it was time to make an appearance & get a PROPER schedule in place. With that said WE MISSED YOU!!



We've got some new formatting ideas you'll hear about in the pod, but most important you'll hear all about some HUGE updates and EVENTS that are coming to The Land! We give you out take on Mayor Justin Bibb's newest policies & some suggestions on things to do for the weekend!

Sorry it's been so long. 2020 is has been hot trash and y'all know by now Savanna can be slow with editing, but we decided it's been waaaayyyy too long & we won't be gone this long ever again we missed y'all.  This episode is a later than intended birthday gift to one of our two host Garret! Happy Dirty 30 good sir. Savanna is sorry that it took so long to edit, but as y'all will hear 2020's thrown every curveball imaginable at the crew. 

Season 2 will be comprised of ourselves and special guest for almost every episode. We figured it was time we brought in some new voices to add to our conversations on life, culture & being a bridge between different worlds and ways of life.

We dedicate this episode to the many lives lost at the Hands of RACIST COPS in America. We hurt for your families, we mourn with our nation & will continue the fight until your lives are vindicated through justice and true reform.

The team is taking life hard...HARD. Life is challenging for the community. Mental space is needed and we took it, but thanks to Sav (who is typing this) the pod was recorded two weeks ago and is just now being posted. We talked through the last two weeks Culture Cops, had some good laughs & updated you all on the three most current cases of police brutality that have rocked America & the world to its core during Bridge Talks. We finished off the chat with Cleveland Can Do's and can't wait to talk Junteenth & life in what seems to be a post Covid society with you all next week. Enjoy and see you all soon!
