Most of today's episode is focused on King Felipes past two days in Peru for the inauguration of the country's new president. Finally we talk about the summer plans.
July 22-25, 2021: It's Officially Summer
Well, we have reached the point where things are drastically going to slow down. We've had the last big event from the Spanish Royals now. The Olympics are happening so we talk briefly about how our 7 countries are doing after day 2 and there were some small updates from the Belgian, British, Dutch, and Swedish Royal Family.
Norway 10 years Later
In today's feature episode we talk about the horrible domestic terrorist attack in Oslo and Utøya 10 years ago. We cover the history of the attack, the Norwegian Royal Family's response then and the events held today to mark the anniversary.
July 20 & 21, 2021: Belgium's National Day
The past 2 days were a bit more to cover but mostly I fangirled about the Belgian Royal Family over the past 2 day, Also covered were days 2 and 3 of Cornwall and my desire to go to the Isles of Scilly. And finally Spain, which while they are still holding events, they aren't very exciting ones.
July 17-19, 2021: Officially No Royals at the Tokyo Olympics
Today we cover the dwindling number of events in the royal households. The start of Cornwall week for the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall, Queen Margrethe's weekend on the Faroe Islands, and the much needed slow down for the Spanish Royal Family this week.
July 15 & 16, 2021: Horrible Floods Affect Belgian and Dutch People
Days that were supposed to be busy have transitioned to busier days due to the recent floods in the BeNeLux Region. King Philippe and Queen Mathilde as well as King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima visited the affected areas in their respective countries.
Queen Margrethe is on a visit to the Faroe Islands and has taken on a series of engagements there, but mostly I talk about the scenery of the country.
In Spain, the country continues to honor the victims of COVID-19 and honoring the immense contribution of Spanish Healthcare workers.
