The Flaws in the Right’s Rejection of Implicit Bias Studies Another Progressive Podcast

In 2004, there was a major study released, which found that white job applicants receive 50% more callbacks than black applicants with identical resumes. This has become one of most classic cases used to explain how implicit bias plays out in the real world. However, as with many things, Ben Shapiro refutes this assumption that the disparities found in this study are based on racial discrimination. In this episode, I go through Ben's arguments, and look at the sources he uses to back them up. Unsurprisingly, I find that the truth is not on his side.
