    The Preview Show: Foreverkusen

It was heartbreak for Aston Villa last night – but at least Matty Cash isn’t in the throes of a zombie apocalypse.
Marcus, Luke, Jim and Andy reflect on Olympiacos’ ascent to Mount Olympus with the Europa Conference League trophy and wonder if Bayer Leverkusen will ever lose again after they broke the European record. There’s also a huge weekend in the title race to get stuck into, Fulham’s owner appearing in a wrestling match, and Nobby Solano’s return to the north-east!
Plus, Wayne Rooney completes his journey to becoming Luke’s all-time favourite Top Bloke. Join us!

Lions Watch: What goes with Rice?

Lions Watch: What goes with Rice?

Marcus and Luke are back with the second edition of Lions Watch before Euro 2024! This week, they react to the news that a creaky Harry Maguire might be even more creaky come June: that’s because he reportedly won’t be fit for the FA Cup final.
After the battle between England’s young midfielders on Monday night left people clamouring for Adam Wharton, Marcus and Luke debate who joins Rice and Bellingham in midfield – and why it might be time for Southgate to (gasp) experiment a little bit. Plus, it’s Michael Owen’s turn on The Take Thermometer! I wonder how he got on…

    Ramble Reacts: Joselu? JOSELU!?

    Ramble Reacts: Joselu? JOSELU!?

Real Madrid did it AGAIN! They beat Bayern Munich 2-1 and it was all thanks to that man Joselu. Well, and Manuel Neuer’s slippery hands.
Marcus and Vish react to a vintage Champions League semi-final at the Bernabeu and try to figure out where Harry Kane can go next to win a trophy. Plus, does Vish want Thomas Tuchel at Man United?

    Can we change leagues?

    Can we change leagues?

Marcus Speller’s Aunty is giddy: an Englishman is going to win the Champions League! He’s joined by Luke, Andy and Vish to celebrate Dortmund returning to Wembley for a Champions League final and try to decide how to make things better for PSG. Should we let them in the Premier League?
Elsewhere, Marcus shows some concern for Casemiro after his recent form and the Ramble community officially nails its colours to the Erik ten Hag Mast, as the lads hope he will stay at Man United for another season. Plus, what’s next for David The Ferryman Moyes, after it was announced that his time at West Ham is coming to an end.

    Rock, paper, scissors…

    Rock, paper, scissors…

Found out. Finished podcast. Marcus, Jim and Vish are frauds.
We’re back to look over a jam-packed weekend! Ipswich are back in the Premier League, while Jamie Vardy’s daughter tells 30,000 people to f**k off.
Meanwhile, was thrashings galore in the Premier League, with Sheffield United and West Ham kindly providing some end-of-season vouchers. Plus, we hear Roy Keane’s stare, the lads speculate how the Premier League will mug Burnley off in the most ridiculous way possible, and Marcus tips a 37-year-old National League player for the England squad. It’s getting out of hand now.

🙌🏻

Love the new format and new additions to the team. Keep up the excellent work. Kate Mason is great

Email jingle is unlistenable though - do you have to play it in full twice every show? It’s gone too far now. I inevitably miss whatever the start of the email is because of the skip 30 seconds button!

Beat football podcast around by a long way,

daveyutah1 ,

Spellsy earns all 5 of these stars.

The football ramble is great, and all of the characters play an important role. I have to admit that you have to get over the disappointment of Luke not being the Luke Moore. And Pete doesn’t even really like football. Jim is a gooner, but not horrendous. The new guy Vish is wrong about all foods, and you would think I’d like Kate cos she’s a spurs fan but she makes weird posh girl noises. Jules is funny though and Andy Brassel knows everything about football. But mostly Spellsy and his absolute love of football and delivering Bacon make this an essential podcast for everyone.
