We take this month to give historical context to what lead to this, and the effects of it and what’s been done to correct it. We take films that honor native people and speak to their struggles, and give them their due. This movie is a Diablo Cody joint, and directed by Zelda Williams. but there’s only one of these ladies at fault, and its not Zelda. This movie never lands its tone correctly but the aesthetic is pretty damn flawless, and true to life. Particularly the life of Alicia, in terms of Lisa’s wardrobe and basic vibe.
