On the latest episode of the 'Not So Trash Reviews', Johann is joined by Film Historian and co-host of the Cine-Lit podcast Darrell Buxton to look deep into the 'Eyes of Laura Mars', Hollywood's attempt at the high class Giallo with an early script by John Carpenter starring Faye Dunaway and Tommy Lee Jones. Not only will be explaining how underrated this gem is without spoilers but we will also be using this film to examine Culture Status Theory. What is the film attempting to say about glamour? What is considered as high society? Can sleaze and trash be considered art? Does controversy create cash? We will be attempting to find the answers to these questions with the visions this movie can give us.

With the sad news of Bruce Willis' retirement, Johann and Ed decide to pay tribute by examining his personal passion project, 1991's Hudson Hawk. Whistle a tune, plan a heist and prepare for looney tunes antics with this multi tonal hot mess of a project. Known for its troubled production due to the constant changes by the star himself, clashes with the director, producer and walk offs with fellow actors, it made for at least a 'unique' experience. So come along and face the many varieties of villains in this caper. Now... where is my cappuccino?
