Squid Game might be the phenomenal, record-breaking Netflix Original, but some claim that the drama isn't that original? Squid Game copied key elements and styles from predecessors such as Battle Royale (2000), As The Gods Will (2014), Money Heist (2017-), and Alice in Borderland (2020-). Why, then, is Squid Game such a big hit??

BUT THAT'S FOR THE NEXT PODCAST.
