Welcome to UC Reality, this podcast offers a platform for all you students to share your experiences, challenges and achievements.
As students we can get so caught up in our own lives, trying to forever balance study, work, a social life and our mental health, that we don’t give a single thought about the people sitting right next to us. We isolate ourselves in our own reality and can feel so alone because of it, but here at UC we are a community, and every member deserves to feel like they belong and that they are being heard. I want to hear your stories and see life from your reality.

UC Reality - Episode 1 Sam Brosnahan
Sam Brosnahan is the current President of the University of Canterbury Student Association, he has tonnes of experience in the UCSA, from the Equity and Wellbeing Rep, to Finance Officer and finally the role of President for 2019. We chat about pet peeves and bad habits, his experience in student government, the perks involved with being president and he gives some helpful advice to any of you students wanting to apply. Sam is so passionate about student wellbeing and is one of the nicest guys, we are so lucky to be able to glimpse into his reality.
