Just a brief update on some garbage audio to let you know where I've been for two years, and to express my desire to get back into it.

Jasper is an engineer with the Federal Bridge Corporation, and a father of two. We went to high school together. I was intensely curious about his involvement with the Green Party of Canada, as well as his beekeeping. He also does other cool stuff too. Give it a listen!

I sit down in my basement after a four month hiatus and contemplate the nature of life and the future of my podcast.

Man, I was angry with all the problems with the audio, which is probably my fault for bringing my laptop outdoors next to a firepit.

Arthur is a lawyer who has a lot of opinion and a great public speaking voice. He's also crashed a Star Trek convention before, which should come as a surprise to no one.

I've known Sam since grad school days over a decade ago. He is a systems librarian at the University of Alberta, while also completing his PhD in political economy at the University of Birmingham. We talked politics, academia, and a bit of musicology.
