This is the first Yegventures podcast and we're excited to finally be on this platform after serving our Edmonton community for nearly a decade online!

This short episode is just an introduction of what to expect to hear on this podcast. Of course, you'll hear some content about river city, but we're going to have a more intimate, behind-the-scenes atmosphere. We'll interview the movers and shakers of this great city, learn some great new trivia, and share some exclusive news about what's happening and what to look forward to.

I'm Lincoln Ho, founder of Yegventures, a local digital magazine about the best, and worst, of Edmonton and beyond. We started out on YouTube, then moved onto Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, a website, TikTok, and now this podcast. Combined, Yegventures has accrued thousands of followers and received millions of views.

As you already know, I'm not your typical influencer. I like looking at the different facets of life from various angles, and we may sometimes explore some controversial topics, but I promise you we will be better in the end because we had a discourse on the subject without avoiding it.

But of course, this isn't a one way communication. I would love to connect with all of you and hear from everyday Edmontonians, yes including that silent majority, on what is on our minds, and what topics may have been left out by mainstream media sources.
