Zealous Musician is a podcast that takes a closer look at the music we love.
For season one, we’ll dive into music from post-hardcore and emo bands like Thrice, Underoath, A Day to Remember - Taking Back Sunday, Brand New, and Copeland. Our focus will be on light music theory -- even playing some ourselves -- and rediscovering why we loved these bands so much in the first place.

The episode was recorded last year when the show Zealous Musician was still in development. Recording this was part of testing out how to do episodes on different styles of music that I love. Rather than letting it sit on a shelf and collect dust, I decided to publish the episode! Although it's much different than the post-hardcore/emo bands of season one, I hope you enjoy this synthesized change of pace!
