What does it take to use Agile as a catalyst for Growth? Very often I hear about more companies shifting into trying to become an Agile Enterprise. Still, very few of them are tackling the transformation challenge keeping in mind the cultural and mindset aspect as well.

It is in moments like the ones we are living now where we have an excellent opportunity to look into how can we generate the needed change, so we transform the crisis we find ourselves in, into a chance to create the future we desire.

During the on-going COVID-19 crisis, we are experiencing a situation most of us couldn't imagine we would see in our lifetime. Having said that, there is one element that also captures my attention, and that is the remarkable improvement in air pollution levels due to the global lockdown.

However, according to the experts, this will not have any impact to slow climate change, as many believe that these reductions are temporary. It's more clear now the potential impact our society could have on the climate change problem if efforts would be focused to gather resources and combined plans were deployed to make this temporal situation into a permanent constructive solution. This would also mean to redefine our economies and how we are generating value and growth.

There have been many cases during the ongoing COVID-19 crisis that have taken my attention that demonstrates the collaborative and caring nature of a lot of human beings, and the importance of demonstrating those values now more than ever. I think that we should spend more time talking about those cases that show the value of unity and solidarity, and less trying to use this difficult moment for political gain or spreading false news and rumors.

When talking about leadership by values, I cannot come with a better example than Juan Julia and Axel Hotel. A team that has built together with a business truly driven by values, not just as a nice poster on the wall but truly transforming them into habits and daily practices.
