Your Inspirational Moment to Continue Your Growth Journey.

#27- From chasing empty goals to a life of fulfilment Feat. Marc Siles

#27- From chasing empty goals to a life of fulfilment Feat. Marc Siles

In a former life, Marc Siles was a senior executive chasing a corporate career – until he had a near burnout experience. Originally from Spain, Siles has been living in Finland for the last 18 years, where he dedicates his passion and energy to enable companies around the globe to accelerate their strategic growth.  Marc shares powerful and personal stories about how he identified what matters in his life – his daughter, his family, and his passion for human growth. He offers tips for people who find themselves chasing after what he calls “empty goals” and who are so focused on their professions that they lose touch with their true life vision.  “I still focus on business growth, but via human growth… That is the only way to make things sustainable.” Do not miss the story he shares about his grandmother’s imprisonment in Franco’s Spain and how her life’s passion was key to her eventual liberation.

Accenture | SolutionsIQ‘s William Rowden hosts. The Agile Amped podcast is the shared voice of the Agile community, driven by compelling stories, passionate people, and innovative ideas. Together, we are advancing the impact of business agility.

#26- Agile as the catalyst for Growth Feat. William Rowden

What does it take to use Agile as a catalyst for Growth? Very often I hear about more companies shifting into trying to become an Agile Enterprise. Still, very few of them are tackling the transformation challenge keeping in mind the cultural and mindset aspect as well.

#25- Creating great places to work Feat. Timo Lappi

It is in moments like the ones we are living now where we have an excellent opportunity to look into how can we generate the needed change, so we transform the crisis we find ourselves in, into a chance to create the future we desire.

A few months ago, before the COVID-19 crisis started, I had the pleasure to talk with Timo Lappi, the CEO, and co-founder and of the Finnish company focused on occupational healthcare, Heltti and one of the primary advocates in Finland to create great places to work.

#24- Redesigning our future after the COVID-19 Feat. Marc Palahi & Vicente Guallart

#24- Redesigning our future after the COVID-19 Feat. Marc Palahi & Vicente Guallart

During the on-going COVID-19 crisis, we are experiencing a situation most of us couldn't imagine we would see in our lifetime. Having said that, there is one element that also captures my attention, and that is the remarkable improvement in air pollution levels due to the global lockdown.

However, according to the experts, this will not have any impact to slow climate change, as many believe that these reductions are temporary. It's more clear now the potential impact our society could have on the climate change problem if efforts would be focused to gather resources and combined plans were deployed to make this temporal situation into a permanent constructive solution. This would also mean to redefine our economies and how we are generating value and growth.

#23- Beyond values and purpose driven leadership Feat. Juan Julia

#23- Beyond values and purpose driven leadership Feat. Juan Julia

There have been many cases during the ongoing COVID-19 crisis that have taken my attention that demonstrates the collaborative and caring nature of a lot of human beings, and the importance of demonstrating those values now more than ever. I think that we should spend more time talking about those cases that show the value of unity and solidarity, and less trying to use this difficult moment for political gain or spreading false news and rumors.

When talking about leadership by values, I cannot come with a better example than Juan Julia and Axel Hotel. A team that has built together with a business truly driven by values, not just as a nice poster on the wall but truly transforming them into habits and daily practices. Listen to Juan Julia's views and insights from a company that truly practices what they preach.
