Why I'm Quitting Social Media - A Cause of Concern for Humanity
Before starting Depression to Expression, I worked for a few large social media companies as I mentioned in this episode. I would argue, as many experts would, that social media is one of the main causes of the increase in depression, anxiety, self harm and eating disorders worldwide.
From a personal note, I'm taking a break until March from social media but will most likely continue to stay away from it as my mind is so unbelievably clear and simple moments in life are just more beautiful than a phone. You see my friends, moments unfold only for me and those around me, without the obligation to be shared.
