And use this blog-post just as a bit of guidance and the tracklisting of this week’s electronic music podcast below.

What’s hot in this week’s electronic music podcast episode?

    Kev’s Fundraiser and London marathon.

There is also a shout out to my man Kev from the South East of England who is doing something great we can support him with.

Kev is a long long listener of Dirty Disco, a retoucher, DIY fanatic and father of two children. At this moment he is preparing himself and training for the London marathon event his 26th of April. With this he is pulling some greatness and already earns a lot of respect for doing this.

At the same time he is fundraising for children with cancer in the UK, which i think is a great cause. This charity is not only helping families that are dealing with this nasty disease. But it’s also funding over 60 research projects across the UK that are in search for breakthroughs to help children with cancer but also to find a cure.

The great thing is that you can support Kev with his fundraising. Just click the button below , it will lead you to his personal fundraising page where you can support him with a donation.

Electronic Music Podcast 342 | New Deep house, Indie Electronica, Electronic Beats & House Music.

Electronic Music Podcast 342 | New Deep house, Indie Electronica, Electronic Beats & House Music.

I hope you like the new website with improved music player so far. Let me know your thoughts in the comments section down below. In this new episode of your weekly electronic music podcast there is a lot of new music to talk about. So let’s get right to it.

    New Electronic Music.

As i selected the music for this week installment of Dirty Disco you will hear a nice mixture of new electronic music of deep house, a bit of beats and funky breaks in the first section of the show. Some funky nu disco, Italo and a few very dope Indie Electronica tracks.

Among the mixed selection there are this week not 1 but 2 free downloads for you to grab. There are 2 promos that will be coming out in the next few days that are left this month and from now on i’m proud to say that our weekly electronic music show is also part of the Emergency FM radio station.

    Sweatson Klank – Good Days

Los Angeles based beat producer Sweatson Klank who has formerly known as Take has released a new music album titled: Good Days on the Friends Of Friends label.

If you love funky beats and breaks, happy electronic hip-hop and a bit of that broken deep house sound. Than Sweatson Klank is your man. This new album delivers all of that and more.

His new album was released on January 31 and includes 12 new tracks full of happiness, funk, soul and groove. A perfect set of tracks to get ready for spring and summer. From laid back grooves that already give you that summertime feeling, to up-tempo breakbeat-ish tracks that make you wanna move in any direction.

As a funny gimmick and cassette lover you can order the album not only on digital formats. But also as a limited edition green cassette. You have to act fast tho, since there are only 100 copies made.

    OTHERLiiNE – OTHERLiiNE

You might me thinking ‘OTHERLiiNE’ Who or what is this? Well as an electronic music lover you most probably have heard from George FitzGerald and Lil Silva. They now proudly present their new collaboration monniker OTHERLiiNE, which is a musical partnership that started out as an accident.

If you love the sounds of both songwriters and singer Lil Silva, You will definitely like the overall vibe their new album is bringing you. From soulful electronic dance bangers, to emotionally beautiful soundscapes like you are used to from George FitzGerald. The hypnotizing vocals from Lil Silva makes you dream away together with the deep atmospheric textures and landscapes.

The album was released on January 31 on the UK based Ministry Of Sound record company. Stream the album on your favorite music service or buy the digital format here on Apple Music.

    KnR on 96 Music.

Occasionally i like to play older tracks as well. First because good music never dies, and second with so much music being released every week. These releases fade away so fast without people ever getting notice of it. So therefore referring to releases from a few years ago occasionally is not that bad, especially when it’s proper deep house like in this case from the Parisian duo KnR on the 96 music label.

Last week i met Jean-Marie Koné who is a very nice guy, french DJ and producer behind A Shazzer Project and ru...

Electronic Music Podcast 341 | Music To Make You Dance.

Electronic Music Podcast 341 | Music To Make You Dance.

Welcome to music podcast episode 341. This week featured in the show your weekly free music download, a new website design, a new Deep House Journeys mix part, 2 promo releases and a bunch of other dope new tracks including the new ‘Music To Make You Dance’ album on Shall Not Fade.

    A new website design.

Before we talk about the music in this week’s podcast, let’s start with first things first. Since last weeks music episode, you may have, or you may have not noticed our new website design. That’s right the complete look and feel of the website has changed.

The reason is that the old website had some structural technical problems. For a long time i wanted to change this, but because of my lack in programming skills i wasn’t able to fix this that soon.

I finally took some time and invested a few days and bit of money to improve the Dirty Disco website. I really hope you like it let me know what you think of it in the comment section or through email.

So what changed? First of all the website is much faster than before, also the navigation structure is better and easier to understand where to find everything.

    Improved audio player.

The new improved audio player is the showpiece as the music podcast is one of the most important elements here on the website, so the audio player is. It’s always there, which means that you can find the audio player on every page or blog on this website. You can find in on the top of the page (just below the menu bar) and on mobile devices it sits at the bottom of the page.

It’s not only always available, it also keeps playing the music while you browse the website. You can easily adjust the volume, create a playlist with multiple shows so that the music will never stop playing. Let me know your thoughts on the player in the comment section here below.

    This week’s free music download.

Every week i send a free music download to my newsletter subscribers. The track is always from high quality and within the many genres being played here in Dirty Disco your weekly electronic music podcast. After i sended the free download out to everybody on the list, i also feature it in the show that comes in the next week on Monday.

This week’s free piece of music is NLY1P – Get No Love Until You Show Some. Originally released on the Bunshin Records label and given away for free.

The track is what i like to call a deep Jazz House groover with funky elements, a solid rolling bass groove, beautiful lo-fi strings and high energy percussion.

To sign up for this free download all you have to do is sign up for the weekly newsletter here in the box below, or use the link in the menu bar for free music. I will never send you spam, only the weekly free download as an email with updates on the music show.

#340 Electronic Music Podcast | Bushfire Awareness with Beats Of No Nation & new music from Roberto Rodriguez, Skatebard & Lauer, Newzs & Dormodontov + many more…

It’s been a while since we last met, over a week now and therefore it’s more than a pleasure to see you here again. May i present to you episode 340 of the one and only real independent electronic music podcast, this week filled with music from Beats Of No Nation and their project to raise awareness and money for the Australian bushfires, Roberto Rodriguez, Newzs, Dormidontov and many more. Just read along for a few of the blog notes or click on the play button here above and listen to the show and the music.

    Electronic Music Podcast 340.

This weekly music show is very independent and neutral, i do not take any positions in political statements and even though i would love to do it all the time i do not raise awareness for disasters, people in need of help and so on. First mostly because Dirty Disco is a place where you can put your sorrow aside and feel free and learn to enjoy life in its fullest and second because there are so many charities that i would love to help that it would be just to much.

Dance For A Future Green (Bushfire Fundraiser)

So now and then and when it comes on my path and connects with the music being played and featured here in this weekly music show, i do try to raise some attention for a charity. In this weeks music show episode i came across the various artists compilation album ‘Dance For A Future Green’ which is a project by the Australian Beats Of No Nations records company and the included artists. This project is setted up to help the people and animals that suffer from the Australian bushfires. All sales and money being made on this album are being used to help people, animals and communities with direct support. Think of property repairs, temporary relocation, habitat reconstruction and basic amenities to just name a few.

Whether you want to help or not but do love electronic music, the album is filled with top notch tracks from great producers in the electronic music scene. For example in this weeks podcast i’m featuring tracks from the album by: Tour Maubourg, Philip Budny, KX9000 and Lavan. But on the album you can find even more great names such as: Gloved Hands, Midnight Groove, Meowsn’ Jad & The and i can continue like this.

The threshold here is very low as the album is completely for free for you to download. So even if you do not like to support and donate money to the campaign that supports people that are in need the most. You can still download the music and listen to it or use it in your DJ sets or play it on your radio show like we do here. Even Though directly supporting with a small donation would help a lot the next best thing to do is to help raise awareness and spread the word. You can always choose to support by telling other people about the great music and project that helps people in two directions. One is people are entertained with great music, and on the other side it helps people who are desperately in need of support. Once again music shows to be a powerful tool.

Support and get the album here.

    Roberto Rodrigues – Rain Dance.

That’s already a lot, and when tuning into this episode i will guide you through it. Next to the fundraiser album there is many more music, for example the all new EP ‘Rain Dance by Roberto Rodriguez. If you are a lover or deep lucious house with a tight groove. This EP is something for you, Roberto Rodriguez shows his capabilities and that he is a skilled deep house producers with this release on Poetry In Motion.

#339 Electronic Music Podcast | New Music from: Armando Mendes, Adult Fiction, Route 94, Robin Flux, Turbojazz & more…

Welcome to a new guided selection in music. In this weeks electronic music podcast many new releases from: Turbojazz, Adult Fiction, Route 94, Robin Flux, Carlo and the brand new debut album by Armando Mendes which is a statement and where i’m featuring at least 5 tracks from. If you missed last weeks episode, click here.

    Electronic Music Podcast #339.

Episode 339 is equal to 6,5 years of curating, selecting, mixing, recording and hosting this weekly music show on the internet. Through the years much has changed at will keep changing but the music will always be here with us. As a long loyal listener of Dirty Disco, you know how the show evolved in what it is today. Not only that you witnessed it, you took part and have a big role in how our weekly music show sounds nowadays. So with that being said i would like to motivate you to keep doing what you do, keep bringing me positive vibes, suggestions, new music and most important let me know what you think of the show.

    Armando Mendes – Parallel Universe.

This week i’m highlighting the new debut album by promising Portuguese artist Armando Mendes – Parallel Universe which got recently released on Turquoise Records and is a real must-have album for people that essentially like the broad spectrum within electronic music. From downtempo, jazz, funk, disco, afro to deep, Chicago house and high energy tracks. This album really has it all. Even collaborations with vocal legend Robert Owens, N.W.A. crew member Ithaka and Jinadu from Defected. In this weeks podcast i’m featuring at least 5 of the tracks on the Parallel Universe album from this debut album by Armando Mendes.

    Turbojazz – In Search.

If you love heavy jazz influenced house music and a lot of broken beats with that touch of deep house. This ep is yours. Turbojazz, (who is also part of Jaxx Madicine) is delivering all this on his new EP and released it on the Boogie Cafe label.

    Route 94 on Turquoise Records.

For deep rolling house grooves with that little touch of minimalism you can grab this new EP by Route 94 that includes the tracks ‘Pre Mexico Pill’ and ‘Straight Up’. The tempo of these tracks sit around 128 and 130 beats per minute but don’t really give that feel. The feeling is more lightly deep, with a steady but strong groove, where beats are def taking control.

As always i can continue talking about the featured music in this weekly blog. But since it’s only in addition to the music podcast i would more likely to have you tuning into the music show so i can guide you through it instead of reading it al here. Feel free to make use of the added tracklist for your convenience and to support the artist and feature their music.

    Full episode tracklisting.

#338 Electronic Music Podcast | New Music from: Hotmood, Discojuice, Goddard, Heist Recordings and more…

#338 Electronic Music Podcast | New Music from: Hotmood, Discojuice, Goddard, Heist Recordings and more…

The second installment of 2020 is a fact. The 338th episode of our weekly electronic music podcast is here, including a lot of new promo’s, new comers, albums and EP’s so let’s dive into them right away. But before i do, please let me remind you that you can always share this page to support me and bring good music to others as well. Thanks!

    Electronic Music Podcast 338.

I would like to start with a short notice about the Spotify playlist for this week. You may know about the playlist that i update every week with new music from the show. Sometimes it may occur that a few tracks are not yet available in Spotify. This mostly happens with the promo’s i play which are not out yet released to the public. Next tot that some track just won’t get released at all and therefore not all tracks i play are always available in the playlist. This week i would like to add some special attention to that since 50% of all played tracks are not yet available within Spotify because of the many promo’s in this week’s episode.

    Music promo’s.

A few examples are: The Roundup VI compilation on the Heist Recordings label run by Head Honcho’s Detroit Swindle. This album is still a promo at the time of writing and will be released on the 24th as vinyl and 2 days later as digital format. The album includes a bunch of remixes on familiar tracks that have been released last year on the label. I’m playing you remixes from: Demuir, Perdu and the head honcho’s themselves Detroit Swindle.

On the 22th of this month Discojuice is dropping his new EP ‘Dance in Outer Space’ on the Flankup Recordings label. Even Though Discojuice is not new to the scene and has been DJing and curating music for more decades he only started producing in 2014. You can read more about his latest release here.

The very first album compilation called Fresh Take Editz 1 is available on the young Fresh Take Records label. Including a bunch of very tight disco edits on famous disco tracks. These edits are very well produced with a lot of groove, funk and soul which make them perfect for the dancefloor.

Lisztomania Records are going to release the new EP Art & Music by Hotmood on the 24th of January. The EP contains two tracks called ‘Art & Music’ and the second track: Hey Mr. DJ.

    More featured new electronic music.

Next to the promo’s there are more releases featured in this weeks podcast episode. Goddard – With ‘Signals’ for those real broken Deep House heads. Deep Electronica is coming from the new music album by Lawrence Hart & Casually Here – Dansa. Producer Atdhe is taking you on a proper Deep Disco groove with his latest EP release on Citizens of Vice called Night Cruisers. I’m playing you at least 3 tracks from the four on this EP.

And last but not least to be mentioned is the new Chapter Five various artist album compilation on the Sub Urban label. Who every year compile their chapter compilations including their best rated tracks from last year released by the label.

Mixed & hosted music mix with or without the talking.

As a frequent listener you know that i always glue the selection together into a fine mixed playlist of 2 hours or more. While the music plays i’m talking you through it as your guide in music and radio / podcast presenter. Next to the hosted version of our weekly music podcast,
