Miami Heat set shooting record, beat Boston Celtics in Game 2
Miami hit more 3-pointers than they ever have in a playoff game, setting a team record to flip the script on Boston and win Game 2 in Boston. They won the 3-point battle by 33 and won by 10, making all the adjustments we expected and playing a nearly perfect game. Meanwhile, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown put up big numbers and got no help from anyone else, but it was Miami's defense that baited Boston's stars into playing how the Heat wanted. Still, John Karalis of Boston Sports Journal says it's no time to panic.

Boston Celtics-Miami Heat Game 2 preview: Physicality & 3-point shooting
The Celtics and Heat face off in Game 2 on Wednesday night, and it a weird way, the Caleb Martin play on Jayson Tatum might end up playing out in Boston's favor. John Karalis of Boston Sports Journal explains why, and then gets into why Joe Mazzulla is more concerned about his team just doing what they did all over again. Plus, Erik Spoelstra acknowledges his team needs to shoot more 3-pointers, but are they capable of shooting enough to make a difference? What kind of defensive trick might they try to slow Boston's shooting down?

No Caleb Martin punishment, Boston Celtics secret weapon, Miami's only adjustment
The NBA is not going to give Caleb Martin any further punishment for his foul on Jayson Tatum, but should they have? Also, the Celtics busted the zone pretty easily in Game 1, but there was a secret weapon beyond Sam Hauser and Payton Pritchard getting hot from 3. John Karalis of Boston Sports Journal and Tom Westerholm discuss that and the one adjustment Miami has that can give them a chance in this series.

Boston Celtics blow out Miami Heat in Game 1 behind Jayson Tatum triple double
The Celtics came out strong, went on a big run, and kept it rolling for basically the entire game (minus an early fourth quarter lull) to win a wire-to-wire blowout over the Heat in Game 1 of their opening round series. Jayson Tatum's triple-double was a big part of Boston taking advantage of everything the Heat threw at them. John Karalis of Boston Sports Journal gets into all of that, how the defense and rebound played a massive part in the blowout, and why the amount of 3-pointers they took was just fine. Also, was the Caleb Martin play on Tatum dirty, bad luck and timing, or a little of both?

Boston Celtics-Miami Heat preview: How Boston sweeps series from Heat
It'll be Celtics-Heat again, this time in the first round of the playoffs. Does Miami have any chance? What does Boston have to do to win this easily? John Karalis of Boston Sports Journal explains why the answer for Boston is all in their heads, why the Heat have to drag the Celtics down to their level to have a chance, and how Boston has every answer they need to make this a sweep.

Bleedgreen
I only recently started following up again the NBA, this podcast introduced me to the Celtics like I had been a fan for ages. John knows what it’s like to be a Basketball player and knows Boston inside out! I enjoy the podcast daily and will soon get his book as well. Greetings from a German living in Finland.
Consistent quality
Been listening for a few years now, John always delivers even now when it’s just him. Enjoy the episodes with Tom Westerholm tremendously as well. Greetings from a Belgian living in Finland
Great stuff
Great and fun show about the best basketball team on the planet. Jay seems to be really bad at the technical stuff (-> occasionally bad sound quality) but I don't mind that too much. Jam is a good addition to the original duo. Absolutely my favourite Celtics pod, have listened every single episode and consider myself as the number one Rainin' J's fan in Finland.
