What do we know about elementals in Pinoy folklore?
In this episode the duo moves from aswang and other scary creatures, to nature spirits or elementals. Mark goes through his research on Visayan lore while Eunice comes in with beliefs surrounding another "star" of Filipino folklore: diwata. Pinoy Folklore Special Season Premiere
Inspired by the popularity of Trese, Mark and Eunice dig the internet for lesser known Pinoy folklore, and after uncovering a treasure trove of anthropological material, decide to create a special season dedicated to the topic. In this episode, the two discuss their fascination on folklore, some personal favourites, and their desire for the younger generation to have access to the same fascinating stories and beliefs they encountered as kids.
