Finally up to date for season 6!

I was so excited to begin listening to this podcast when it started. The only problem is that in Finland where I live, I had no access to streaming services showing Lost. I listened for the first season without rewatching the episodes myself. It mostly worked out fine as the podcasts featured good recaps. But by season 2, I realized that my memory was hazy and I could no longer follow everything that was discussed. I didn’t want to resort to nefarious means to watch the episodes, so I took a break from the podcast for about a year.

!!!Flash-forward!!! to early 2021, and STAR merges with Disney , allowing me to watch Lost again. I vowed to catch-up to the Storm team so I could enjoy the podcasts as they were releasing them. It’s been an epic long Lost binge and the podcast’s light references to current events has allowed me to relive 2020 (COVID, BLM riots, US election, insurrection day, Oprah talking to Megan, what a year!). To speed things up, I sometimes skipped the Storm section, which includes commentary on the current episode’s place in the series. I especially skipped the Storm section for season 5 because I couldn’t remember what was inside Hugo’s guitar case, and wanted to relive the fun reveal.

Really happy I can now enjoy the season 6 recap on a weekly basis with the hosts, who are all informative, charismatic, intelligent and funny! Looking forward to see if they do another rewatch…my wish would be X-files. I’d happily join their council of little green men.

ellumaria ,

a great company for the journey of lost!

i love, love, LOVE this podcast!! i felt kind of alone as i started to watch lost about 3 years ago and i felt like the fandom had seen it’s best days, and no one i knew watched it. thankfully i stumbled upon this podcast last year! i find all the hosts funny and interesting and i feel like this podcast brings another dimension to watching lost. this is my favourite podcast, i recommend !!
