We Must Build a Red-State Bulwark Regardless of the November Election | Guest: Rep. Phil Lyman | 6/18/24

We Must Build a Red-State Bulwark Regardless of the November Election | Guest: Rep. Phil Lyman | 6/18/24

Today, I explain how the corporate interests are ensuring that, even if Trump wins, not much will change except for a couple of tax issues. It’s not just about the endorsements. The party has not and will not change at a federal level. Part of making red states sovereign is ensuring that the federal government doesn’t control western lands. We’re joined today by Utah state Rep. Phil Lyman, who is challenging liberal Gov. Spencer Cox in the GOP primary. Cox is a global warming Republican who supports illegal immigration and the transgender agenda. Lyman has fought the federal government on its death grip over Utah’s lands. He warns that thanks to Gov. Cox there is nothing standing in the way of the feds forcing rural Americans into cities and then locking up the state’s water, roads, and natural resources. We also discuss how Utah has become a magnet for illegal aliens and the need to make Utah’s convention model great again.

Stunning Victory for Godly Conservatives in Indiana | Guest: Micha Beckwith | 6/17/24

Stunning Victory for Godly Conservatives in Indiana | Guest: Micha Beckwith | 6/17/24

It doesn’t have to be this way. If we actually had a focused movement involved in red-state public affairs, we’d change the country overnight. On Saturday, Indiana pastor Micha Beckwith shocked the political establishment by beating the party apparatus, which has the backing of Trump to secure the nomination for lieutenant governor. He joins us to discuss how he was propelled by churchgoing delegates who were highly engaged and sick and tired of a red state being governed like California. We engage in a free-wheeling conversation about how pastors need to motivate their congregants to get on the political playing field, the need to inject more godly virtue into an increasingly secularized right wing, and how his voice can serve as a beachhead for our values in a state that has been devoid of conservatives. Most of all, Beckwith’s victory proves once again that switching primaries to conventions is the only way to break the uniparty.

Why Governor Is Now the Most Important Office in the Land | Sen. Bill Eigel | 6/14/24

Why Governor Is Now the Most Important Office in the Land | Sen. Bill Eigel | 6/14/24

Halfway through the primaries, we now have a full view on what is going on. Thanks to Trump’s plethora of horrible endorsements, every single RINO is winning in Congress – to the point that we will have a worse roster of Republicans in Washington next year. I give an analysis of the South Carolina primaries showing, once again, that we are losing ground at the federal level while gaining ground in state legislatures. However, the ground gained in legislatures is not enough if we fail to pick up governorships. I’m joined today by Missouri state Sen. Bill Eigel (R), who is perhaps our only realistic chance of picking up a red state this year. He is promising to govern Missouri at least at the DeSantis level of precision and competence. He explains how federal funding is what is holding states hostage, and he plans to wean the state off those programs so that he can make it a sanctuary from federal political persecutions. He is also promising to use his power to deport illegal aliens. Don’t think Missouri will be red without first electing Eigel. He shows how, thanks to the failed GOP in the state, the Left is about to impose minimum wage, abortion, and expanded Obamacare in ruby-red Missouri.

Right-Wing Media Harms Itself with Its Own Delusions | 6/12/24

Right-Wing Media Harms Itself with Its Own Delusions | 6/12/24

For today’s special show, I go through the two false premises on right-wing media. Right-wing media believe that we are ahead in the elections and just need to run out the clock. Right-wing media also believe that Trump will somehow be better than his first term without building a new movement focused on substance. I show how both of these premises are demonstrably false, and, in fact, Republicans are likely to lose control of Congress anyway. Now is precisely the time to have a budget fight over immigration. I explain why we will be unlikely to have an opportunity to properly govern next year and why the next president will be saddled with the first recession amid a cataclysmic-level debt and interest crisis. Rabble-rousing may or may not win elections — and increasingly is failing to do so — but let’s not kid ourselves about our ability to convert the current strategies into civilization-saving victories.

Americans Dropping Out of the Workforce Together with Mass Migration Equals Socioeconomic Hell | Guest: Steven Camarota | 6/11/24

Americans Dropping Out of the Workforce Together with Mass Migration Equals Socioeconomic Hell | Guest: Steven Camarota | 6/11/24

A supermajority of the public, including nearly every demographic, want mass deportations. Yet because we have no movement of governance (just campaigning), we can’t get most red states to do anything about it, much less get House Republicans to fight on the budget. The latest labor statistics portray this invasion crisis in the starkest terms imaginable by showing how nearly all of the job growth in recent years has been from the foreign-born. We’re joined by Steven Camarota, director of research at the Center for Immigration Studies, who does a deep dive into the jobs data. He believes that we are accelerating a long-term trend of the American worker sitting on the sidelines by opening up an endless stream of foreign workers. This is the worst mix of bad immigration policies with terrible social-economic policies internally. There are now millions of America males of working age no longer in the workforce. Steven also estimates that 8-9 million illegal aliens have come in, and the net migration since Biden took office is over 6 million. It directly lowers wages for Americans but also ensures that politicians don’t have to deal with the internal problem of the languishing American on the sidelines of the labor market.

There Is No 'Silent Majority' Waiting to Save Us | Guest: Brian Festa | 6/10/24

There Is No 'Silent Majority' Waiting to Save Us | Guest: Brian Festa | 6/10/24

There is no silent majority to save us in a general election. Instead we must create an effective, tireless minority. Effective is the operative word. I explain why I am pessimistic about the European Right capitalizing on its victories in the EU elections, given the lack of coherent, godly world vision on today’s Right and lack of governing talent. Part of effective governing talent is having a successful legal movement. We’re joined today by Brian Festa, a civil rights attorney from We the Patriots USA who has been fighting COVID tyranny in the courts. He explains why a new Ninth Circuit ruling might lead to the collapse of vaccine mandates for many types of vaccines because it will now force companies to prove their efficacy. This is the first time “the science” will actually be on trial, a fact-finding debate that the other side can’t win. He is also very hopeful that we will be able to hold Pfizer accountable for deceptive trade practices, even under the liability shield of the Prep Act. We need effective red-state legislators and litigators to actually rectify the “Great Reset.” Elections alone will not change anything.
