    The Telenovela with Wilson Bethel

    The Telenovela with Wilson Bethel

Ay, dios mio -- it’s the Telenovela! Rachel and Melinda discuss “The Telenovela,” (S1 Ep20) with Wilson Bethel, whose very first acting role was playing Brad the Water Polo Player on this episode!

Wilson shares why he got humiliated on the set of The OC, the line in this episode he called “his most shameful,” and the time he passed a cocktail weenie to Josh Schwartz.

Rachel and Wilson went on to co-star in “Hart of Dixie,” so there’s some crossover this episode as they discuss similarities between the two shows, Rachel’s role as Dr. Zoe Hart, and the ultimate prank she played on Wilson on the set of that show.

The Telenovela Synopsis: Can’t we be friends? Ryan and Marissa give it a try but it’s certainly awkward. Things take another turn when Ryan's former flame, Theresa Diaz, shows up in Newport to work as a waitress for a special gathering and wants to try to reconcile with him. Meanwhile, Julie and Luke begin having a passionate affair behind everyone's backs, while Seth has to fight for Summer to publicly recognize their relationship.

    The Truth with Elizabeth Gillies

    The Truth with Elizabeth Gillies

Rachel and Melinda are joined by Dynasty actress and OC fan, Elizabeth Gillies, to discuss “The Truth” (S1 Ep18).

They share what it’s like doing publicity and Rachel tells a story about a talk show mishap on Jimmy Fallon -- not Jimmy Kimmel! Hear about Liz’s experience as a first-time director, her farm micro-wedding, and how she first fell in love with The OC.

Of course, there’s more Oliver talk as we finally say goodbye to him, and Melinda theorizes on why Sandy ate his bagel in the most obscure way!

The Rivals Synopsis: Ryan feels alone -- he is suspended from school, grounded by the Cohen’s, and even Seth won’t listen to him about Oliver. The only ally he has is Luke, who vows to help Ryan expose Oliver. Eventually, the truth comes out when Marissa is held at gunpoint in Oliver’s penthouse. Meanwhile, Anna can see that Seth still has feelings for Summer, and breaks up with him. And in other break-up news, Caleb cowardly asks Kirsten to dump Julie on his behalf.
