What Color is Your Heart Today‪?‬ Neelam Bohra

Neelam interviews Amie Jean, a former UT student who was student body vice president diagnosed with multiple sclerosis while she was in college. Amie now uses a wheelchair and attends physical therapy, and although she speaks to denial and how hard it can be to accept stark life changes, she also offers advice for everyone living with a disability: be patient with yourself. 

Neelam talks with Autumn Lanning, a junior at UT Austin, about their lifelong experience with rheumatoid arthritis, being neurodivergent, finding their queer identity, and their dreams of becoming a middle school history teacher. 

Neelam talks with Sofi Suerkan, a sophomore at the University of Texas at Austin, about her celiac and POTS diagnoses and how they affect her life on a daily basis. Sofi opens up about how her chronic illnesses have affected her job as a digital designer, finding ways to hangout with her friends, and the way life her life changed during the pandemic.
