Gaming with Gorts and Guests Tom Gort

We gave the East Lake course (pin setting 4) a try--this particular pin setting was especially challenging. Along the way, we discussed some current events, shows we've been watching--Great British Baking Show, The Mandalorian, and others--and spend way too much time discussing the nuances of Alexa's fart board algorithm. There's even a special AMSR segment, if you like that sort of thing.

The show starts as Max and Tom play "Descenders," a mountain  bike racing game. After that Chris and Scott join them for a round of PGA Tour 2K21--a four-ball match play contest that comes down to the 18th hole. 

Discussions include current TV shows such as "Ted Lasso," "Teenage Bounty Hunters," and "The Boys;" also which MLB rule changes might catch on when they are able to return to normal play. 

In this episode, Tom and Jackson play a match play round at Augusta National. They also discuss current events, and their thoughts on the metric system. 

We start with a round of match play at St. Andrews followed by a tense round of Skins. 

Max, Chris, and Tom play PGA Tour 2K21. 

Jackson joins us for this episode. We start by playing Fall Guys, which is not only super fun, but is also one of the free PS Plus games for the month. After we're both (*spoiler warning*) eliminated we play a 2v2 scramble in PGA Tour 2K21. In addition to talking about how to improve our golf games, we discussed course design, Chirs and Max's recent trip to San Francisco, an easy way to remember which way to turn your wheels when parking on a hill, eating cereal straight out of the box, Peeps, In-N-Out Burger, Ben's Chili Bowl, and much more.
