Season 2, Ep 16: VPR reunion and The Valley
TW: Concepts of suicidal ideation, SA/grooming, Post Partum OCD/depression, and DV are discussed. Resources for each are provided.
YBT mentions it all by discussing the topic of suicidal ideation and speaks on the debate about whether or not Tom weaponized Ariana’s suicidal ideation. Audio issues, podcast news and Spreaker Supporter’s Club explained
YBT apologizes for and explains audio issues from last episode. Following this, YBT shares what is to come in the next few weeks and announces two special guests who will be on the pod.

What in the Bravo hell?!
TW: Concepts of complicated grief, infertility, cancer/medical trauma, generational trauma, addiction, and narcissistic abuse
There’s been SO MUCH happening in the bravoverse lately and YBT is here to mention it all! YBT talks Bethenny Frankel’s complex grief journey after the loss of her mother and the ending of her engagement. YBT also discusses RHOBH news surrounding Kyle, Dorit and PK discussing emotional abandonment and neglect. YBT then outlines some Bravo men who are a breath of fresh air in a toxic cloud of Bravo men (I forgot to add Craig Conover!)
YBT then talks The Valley, VPR finale and Summer House. When discussing VPR finale, YBT talks about the ‘grey rock’ phenomenon (seen in memes about Scandoval) and outlines healthy boundary setting. RHONJ toxicity and Summer House
TW: Concepts of trauma, addiction, recovery, boundary setting, and parasocial attachments are discussed.
In this episode, YBT shares housekeeping updates Season 2 of YBT, Supporter’s Club and plans for future episodes. YBT discusses reasons behind the decision to refrain from covering season 14 of RHONJ; primarily due to increased toxicity as a result of social media drama. Specifically, YBT discusses information shared by Carlos King in a recent podcast, in which he shares receipts from Melissa’s Old Nose on Twitter. YBT discusses increased toxicity surrounding Jersey and outlines parasocial interactions and relationships that lead to unhealthy power dynamics between Bravolebs and content creators.
YBT then talks Summer House; discussing attachment theory and how abandonment wounds have widespread and long-lasting impacts in adult relationships. YBT also discusses conflict avoidance, and how this behavior can remain following recovery from addiction.

In this episode, YBT shares clinical interpretations of Summer House & The Valley. Specifically, YBT covers relationship issues between Carl and Lindsay & Kyle and Amanda. In this episode, YBT shares clinical interpretations of the RHOP finale, both the finale of the show and finale of the franchise. YBT discusses bipolar disorder and applauds Gordon's honesty and MH advocacy.
YBT then breaks down the three-hour Viall Files podcast with Monica Garcia. YBT mentions it all by sharing clinical observations of Monica and Nick, and deep diving into a problematic caller segment during the episode. I share the story of the caller (who has no contact with their parents and thus the reason for the advice call) and YBT challenges some of Nick’s uninformed statements on the matter. This leads to a discussion about the role intergenerational trauma plays in no contact with family.
