    Winter can be a challenge to navigate; the cold, dark days and less light picking up our spirits and warming us.  As the winter solstice (December 21) marks the shortest day/longest night of the year, it also marks a return, albeit gradual, to more light and more warmth.  This winter meditation is designed to help loosen the hold of a cold, dark season and tap into the light and warmth within.

    Spring Cleansing - A Guided Visualization

    Spring is a time of new beginnings. 

    We clear away the weight of the winter and feel lighter as warmer temperatures, longer days and more sunlight become the norm. 

    From a literal shedding of winter layers to the more figurative imagery of nature in bloom, it's hard not to feel something shift within us when the seasons change.
    This feeling can manifest in actions as well - spring cleaning - a clearing away of the clutter from seasons past to create space; of ridding ourselves of something we no longer need.

    This guided visualization will take you on a journey to a paradise of your own creation. There you will venture safely to the waterfall where you will clear away that which no longer serves as you move into a season of new beginnings.

    Mindful Breathing Meditation

    Everything starts with the breath.

    Mindful breathing meditation  is a foundational practice that helps you train your awareness, reduce your stress response and cultivate calm.

    Paying attention on purpose, in the present moment and without judgement; these are the ingredients of some really important work within ourselves. It may look passive , but sitting still with your eyes closed,  paying attention to your breath and noticing the physical sensations of breathing, is not passive at all. Becoming your own observer and cultivating an ability to focus and expand your observational capacity is some serious work with some equally serious benefits.

    In this guided session we explore breath and engage in a mindful breathing meditation. And by talking you through every step of the way, make accessible what can otherwise be a challenging practice.

    Waiting is a natural part of life and yet at times the impact of waiting can feel more acute than usual.
    We may be waiting to receive a phone call or an email, important news or results. Maybe we are waiting for a traffic light to change when we're in a hurry, waiting our turn in a long line, or for a bus to arrive or to board a plane and take off.  There are countless scenarios of waiting and the act of waiting can create stress for many of us. 

    This is a meditation to help us find our own inner calm and peace in the act of waiting.
