Hey guys! I apologize in advance, I had so many distractions while recording this. Neighbors, people knocking on the door.. I kept losing my train of thought, but that’s life right? Gotta roll with the punches! 😂 I also forgot to publish this episode when I recorded it on 1/23/22! That’s how distracted I was. I feel like I didn’t communicate my message as clearly as I intended to, however, this is me being authentic. I have major perfectionist tendencies and it’s something I feel a lot of artists struggle with also. I’m learning to embrace this concept that “Done is better than perfect.” Because the more I try to perfect something, the more I lose my authenticity in the process. I heard Gary Vee say a powerful quote the other day. He said “Perfection is the disguise of insecurity.” And wow did I need to hear that!! Some thing new I’ve been embracing in my life is being more transparent and vulnerable in everything I say and do. The more transparent I am, the more real I am. I’ll be calling myself out and owning up to a whole lot of mistakes I’ve made, both in my past and also current mistakes. I’m not perfect. I don’t have my life all together, even though some people assume that I do. I’m still a huge work in progress. I hope by me leading by this example, that it encourages others to be brave and have the courage to do the same. This is all a huge aspect of being authentic. Don’t compromise your authenticity to be relatable or more “liked”. Whatever you’re passionate about, do it with authenticity. Do everything with authenticity. Don’t do it for the likes, comments, followers or subscribers. Don’t even do it for the haters. None of that truly matters. Stay true to YOU!

No one actually knows the REAL me. That’s because I’ve never allowed ANYONE to get to know me. I’ve been guarded my entire life. But that is all coming to an end. I’m incredibly excited to share a huge part of who I am, where I’ve been, what I’ve learned, and the wisdom I’ve gained. The struggles in life have been my greatest blessing, because of the wisdom, humility and compassion I’ve gained. This episode is just an introduction of what my purpose in life is: My passion for helping people, HOW I want to help, and most importantly WHY. This is my heart and soul. Anything we do without authenticity will never last.

Hi my loves! It’s been so long since I’ve uploaded any content!! I’ve been consistently creating and producing so many different projects and content, just haven’t launched them all yet. Today’s episode began as a “note to self” that I recorded in my voice memo app. That yet again, turned into a fresh new episode of me speaking from the heart and off the cuff! This is me being raw, real, unfiltered, unedited and authentic. That’s when I’m the most passionate! Sure there might be a few cuss words here and there, but that’s me! Perfectly imperfect! I also want to always stay authentic, transparent and vulnerable. Because if it’s not authentic, it won’t last. I also love when inspiration hits me out of the blue like this!! I encourage everyone to rewrite your own stories too! Remember, your past doesn’t define you! The cards we’re dealt in life can always be reshuffled! It’s up to you to make that choice though!
