In today’s episode, I’m lucky enough to talk to Dr. Maurice Shaw, a pharmacist of 8 years who is using the vehicle of comedy to expose the public to retail pharmacy working conditions. Dr. Shaw worked for 7 years at Walgreens Pharmacy before being fired unjustly for doing his comedy, and today we talk about our shared experiences working in retail pharmacy that create risks to patient safety, conditions for workers, and also talk about Dr. Shaws journey into comedy, and how comedy is the bridge between.
