    • Christianisme

The early church in the New Testament serves as a model for building a healthy church. A key component in their life was their interaction with each other and their generosity. Here we see the fruit of love. They were devoted to each other in words and actions. ABOUT THE SERIES:This seven-part video series takes an in-depth look at each of the values mentioned in Acts 2:42-47. The early church built their lives around these values, and God added to them. As a result, they are an example to us of how to build healthy churches. Using God’s blueprint, we learn how to build the church and live to glorify God. We believe that only God can build His church; He is the Architect, and by following these principles, life will flow in our churches, and the lost will be saved.“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.” – Acts 2:42-47 (NIV)
