    In this episode, Ryan, takes a look at Derry Girls season 2, a coming of age dramedy created and written by Lisa Mcgee. It follows five highschoolers amidst the political conflict of Northern Ireland in the 1990s, while also having to square off with the universal challenges of being a teenager, with very little change in season 2. Ryan talks about the anthology-eskness of the show but with the plots in them, his want for more adult character development, and some massive subtle character development.

Ryan and Ana talk about how the show balances comedy with the Northern Ireland Conflict, the different complexities of each character, and how the anthology-eskness of the show, made it hard to like some of the characters sometimes.

    In this episode, Ryan, and his special guest Nick, take a look at the Mindy Kaling Project, Never Have I Ever, which follows Devi (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) a 15-year-old girl, in the San Fernando Valley, who has just come off a horrible year, with her father dying, and the loss of the use of her legs, and now just wants to have sex before she graduates high school, preferably with school heartthrob Paxton Hall-Yoshida (Darren Barnet).  Ryan and Nick talk about their hatred for some characters, the sometimes sensitive, sometimes brash care of certain plot lines, and how the show is a wonderful example of proper representation.

    In this episode, Ryan takes a look at Feel Good. Feel Good follows Mae Martin (who also co-created the show) as she tries to control the addictive behaviors of her sobriety, which are then more complicated when she falls in love with her new girlfriend, Goerge.  Ryan talks about the amazing storytelling of Mae dealing with her sobriety, how each character feels real and complex no matter how big or small they are, and how this show is more than just a mature rom-com. Ryan also finally finds a show, where the main character is his favorite character, making it a breath of fresh air for him, especially with the amazing representation of same-sex couples.

Ratched follows Mildred Ratched (Sarah Paulson) before she becomes the villainous person she is in "The One That Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest",  as Mildred moves to Monterey Country to start working at Lucia State Psychiatric Hospital. Ryan talks about the wonderful and colorful wardrobe, how the show couldn't have been better, by being shorter, and looking at 1940s mental health practices in a 2020 lens.

    In this episode, Ryan takes a look at Everything Sucks, a coming of age dramedy, set in 1996s Boring Oregon. It follows the day to day lives of A/V club members, Luke (Jahi Di'Allo Winston) Kate (Peyton Kennedy), McQuaid (Rio Mangini) and Tyler (Quinn Liebling) as they try to survive highschool, as well as the terrifying kids from drama club. Quickly, the A/V club and the drama club team up, to make a movie. Ryan talks about the complexities of each character, the overall plot of the show, and goes on about why Everything Sucks should have gotten a season 2.
