    Adulting 2.0: Shelley Syme

    Adulting 2.0: Shelley Syme

Hey Podulters! Welcome to Adulting 2.0: The Timelines.
This week I’m talking to Shelley Syme. Shelley’s timeline completely shifted when at the age of 29 she found a lump under her armpit and was subsequently diagnosed with breast cancer, which had spread to her lymph nodes as well, which led her to make the brave decision to have a mastectomy. We connected online after Shelley wrote a gorgeous poem about her feelings towards her breasts on a post I did for Breast Cancer Awareness month.
We talk about finding that life changing lump, reframing your mentality around your body, dating, not wanting children and her love of snooker.
I hope you enjoy, and as always please do rate, review and subscribe.

Highly recommend this podcast

This podcast is a very interesting and entertaining one. Oenone is very good at engaging discussion with the different person she is inviting and getting the best / more interesting out of them.
I think her podcasts strike the perfect balance between being engaging while not being too heavy and being something you just really enjoy listening to.

Highly recommend !

We should all listen to this podcast

I came across Adulting because I was following Oenone on Instagram and loved her stance on important topics. This podcast is everything you want it to be: inspired, insightful, and important on so many levels. You get to actually hear people who are concerned about certain subjects share their personal experience and growth.
I always look forward hearing another episode, and I feel like every single one is a chance to learn and grow and educate yourself more.
Cannot stress enough how much I recommend it !
