On the occasions of the birthday of Bhaktisidhanta Sarasvati Thakura (the guru of Srila Prabhupada), we hear his famous "sixty-four instructions," which inspire us to practice Krishna Consciousness with more determination and selflessness. 

In this episode of Atma Vision, we delve into the connection between consciousness and war (Ukraine vs. Russia, or Israel vs. Palestine, for example). We visit one key verse from the Bhagavad Gita and two important verses from the Srimad Bhagavatam, one of them that makes the truth claim that devotion to a personal God guarantees the development of compassion for others. 

In this episode of Atma Vision, we delve into the connection between Kali Yuga (and what is Kali Yuga) and the recommended process of chanting God's Holy Name. We look at five Bible verses, as well as a famous verse from the Srimad Bhagavatam, about the power of the Holy Name. We hear Rupa Goswami (16th century) telling us to keep on chanting, and we relish a passage from Kirk Franklin's song "Something about the Name Jesus." 

In this episode of Atma Vision, and ahead of the upcoming festival of "Radhastami," we look at the theme of the internal pleasure potency of God, also known in the Bhakti tradition as Srimati Radharani. Making comparisons with the figure of Mary, we show how the worshiper approaches God via the compassionate intercession of His divine, feminine pleasure potency (whether having a maternal or conjugal ethos). We look at a verse from the Upanishads, a verse from the Bhagavata Purana and a verse from the Bhagavad-Gita, all relating to the person of Radharani. We also comment on a passage from Stevie Wonder's "Jesus Children of America" song from 1973. 

In this episode of Atma Vision, we look at the theme of happiness. We look at three verses from the famous text, the Bhagavad-Gita, which describe three different categories of material happiness as well as spiritual happiness, which is described as operating on the level of consciousness, beyond the body, mind and intellect.
