The Best!

When By the Book drops a new episode, it goes to the top of my queue. It’s the best!

Such a great podcast

I’m loving this podcast. What a great concept. I’m of that age (30-something) where I’m very intrigued by self-help or parenting advice books. Books I never will read but I choose them for my audible monthly subscription to keep me occupied during the daily commute. This podcast covers most of the ones I’ve chosen (and of course a ton more) so I feel an affinity with the casters. I don’t always agree with their opinion but it’s also good to get another perspective on a book sometimes making me realize I have been naive (e.g. men are from Mars...). The casters often make me giggle and my family find it amusing that I’m having fun listening as I cook or clean.
It’s also great to get a briefing of books I haven’t read yet and note down which ones are maybe worthwhile...
I’m really glad there are so many episodes as I’ve still plenty to listen to. I can’t wait to get a quiet time to switch back on to my fave podcast.

Fun and helpful!

This podcast follows two friends who try self-help book for a while and check if they actually helped them or not. I appreciate the humor and feminism, the show is trying to incluse everyone and the hosts are honnest and real in this show. I recommend it!
