A weekly series of public lectures and panel discussions exploring from multiple angles the "reconciliation" approach to saving and creating habitat for species in a post-wild California. Speakers include ecologists, geologists, fish biologists, engineers, legal scholars, economists, water managers and others.

Reconciliation ecology, in the words of the ecologist Michael Rozenzweig who coined the term, "is the science of inventing, establishing and maintaining new habitats to conserve species diversity in places where people live, work and play."
