Clemence De Lutz & the business of food Kitchen Tape
-
- Gastronomie
This week, Kassie and Rose are joined by Clemence De Lutz, co-owner and teacher at The Gourmandise School in Santa Monica!
*stay tuned through the end of the episode to hear an exclusive mini interview with a very special guest*
Clemence shares about her decision to leave a career in film and start her own baking business. She explains the hurdles it takes to open a food business, and how she decided to start teaching others how to do it for themselves!
The girls discuss both the challenges and rewards of raising a family while working in food, fantasize about travels to Portugal, and lament about the poor mans ratatouille (apparently it can get even poorer!) And the most exciting new yet: Clemence announces Petit Grain Boulangerie, a new bakery she and Tony Hernandez are opening on May 1st! Visit them at 1209 Wilshire Blvd. Santa Monica, CA
Keep up with everyone on Instagram!

Check out The Gourmandise School for culinary and baking classes (great to do with friends, a date, or just yourself) and sign up for the Santa Monica Chocolate Society!
Kitchen Tape is hosted by Rose Wilde and Kassie Mendieta. It is edited and produced by Casey Shea. Our theme music was created by Dan Crabtree. If you would like to be a guest on a future episode, email us at kitchentapepod@gmail.com
