    Kennen Hutchison is an internationally recognized scientist and educator. Classically trained as a microbiologist, he has a B.S. in Microbiology from Western Illinois University and an M.S. in Biomedical Research from Northwestern University. In addition to teaching IB Biology and Mathematics at Beacon Academy, Kennen is a Ph.D. student at Northwestern University where he studies Cognitive Psychology and Educational Design in the Learning Sciences Ph.D. program. When not teaching or studying you can find Kennen working as a science communicator through various media outlets including MTV News, The King of Random, or his own self-produced show Science with Kennen.
