My favorite podcasts
This is my very first podcast and my favorite.I’ve listened to other one after this and they were never as good as any of Tori’s podcasts.The research,the details,the way she speaks…It makes the hole story come to life .I’ve always wanted to know more about crime and the American justice system (I’m French) and this was just perfect. EVERY ONE RAISE THEIR GLASSES (of orange juice probably,please no poison here) TO THE AMAAAAZING TORI !!!!!
Excellent podcast
I like the way that Tori understands the very uneven playing field for women in society. I avoided this podcast at first because I don’t think that is addressed often enough.
For French readers I recommend the book “Présumé Coupable” which looks at the way society judges women in a more serious light if they should stray from the prescribed roles.
Great voice and curated stories
Great concept. A lot of podcasts on crime are morbid for the sake of shock value and too detailed to not be traumatizing.
This podcast is well done by being able to tell a good story in a way that shows respect to listeners and subjects. There isn’t useless banter or giggles that are inappropriate or random conversations. It’s a simple clear story and it works.
