Kim Basler is changing the way we think about movement and our bodies. But it wasn’t always this way. While Kim was building her career in fitness, she was living in a painful and secretive cycle of body shame and disordered eating.
Kim shares her powerful journey to recovery and how she’s helping other women and the fitness industry revisit their definitions of health, wellness, and movement.

Here’s what we’re talking about in this episode:
How working in the fitness industry fuelled Kim’s eating disorder and perfectionism.
The secrecy, fear, and shame of living with an eating disorder.
The moment that she knew it was time to make a change.
What Kim’s relationship with the fitness industry and movement look like today.
The work that Kim is doing with CanfitPro as a Body Image and Mental Wellness panelist to make the fitness industry a safer, more inclusive space
