Then "Footcandle Films" may be the show for you. Each month, the hosts discuss and review one "smaller" film in-depth, discuss upcoming film news, and give recommendations on films that you may not be aware of, ones that you haven't remembered in a while, or ones that are worth your time checking out. And all the while, the conversation never gets too "high-brow" or pretentious. Just two guys who enjoy talking about movies. Indie filmmaker Richard Linklater released his latest movie HIT MAN starring Glen Powell on Netflix on June 7th. Alan & Chris share a review and then discuss some upcoming films of interest. For a home viewing recommendation this week, Chris goes back to 2008 to a film (though well received at the time) he feels needs some more credit today.

For 88 minutes a completely unrecognizable Jesse Eisenberg & Riley Keough depict the life of an unusual family in SASQUATCH SUNSET. Alan & Chris discuss the film and then cover some news of upcoming releases. Chris closes out the show with a recommendation of an unusual documentary that is not for the faint of heart.

Director George Miller is back in the deserts of Australia with FURIOSA: A MAD MAX SAGA starring Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth. The fellows share their views on the film before giving details of three other movies that are yet to be released. Rounding out the show Chris shares a recommendation for a film you might consider adding to your watch list...or as he thinks might more likely be the case...your rewatch list.
