Retired Lt. Jody Nelson has worked at every level of law enforcement: county, federal, and local enforcement. She was part of the first wave of women hired to be full time peace officers in the 1980s when she joined the Minneapolis (MN) Police Department. Join us as she talks about her journey, and challenges, as she worked in a profession she loved, and her roles in being married to a peace officer, being a daughter of a peace officer, and being the mother of a peace officer.
