In this episode I talk about being a mental health advocate and how the experiences from our childhood really do shape our reality into adulthood. Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It's all about how we think, feel, and behave on a daily basis. Once we are able to break down the stigma towards mental health, then we are able to determine how we handle stress. Our stress comes from our triggers and what it is that makes us uncomfortable. Alot of the times we also see ourselves through the eyes of others and we are conditioned to think that outside validation is more important rather than our own understanding of who we are. Take control of your life by becoming more conscious of your environment, what you consume [mentally, emotionally, physically], what you need to heal, where your focus lies and what your purpose is. Be mindful of your; stress levels, diet, exercise, daily routine, environmental influences and mental health.
