GATCHAN!!! ,

Awesome and easy to listen psychology podcast

I’ve been listening to this podcast almost daily for a few years and I love it ! A good mix between psychology theories, insights about what it’s like being a psychologist, discussions about daily issues, deep and vulnerable conversations with also entertaining bits.
Dr Kirk Honda has a multi-theoretical and non dogmatic approach, which is awesome if you want to get a pretty broad view on the field of psychology.

I would recommend it to people who want to work as a social worker or therapist, to people who already practice, but also to people who just want to get a better understanding on how they and other people work.

I would not recommend it to people who are looking for scripted explanations of psychology theories. Even though the episodes are often thoroughly researched, they an get a bit rambly which might bother some people.

There’s also a lot of talk about pop culture, but they’re clearly not experts about it (nor do they claim to be).

Objective and clear

Really appreciate his take on Depp Amber. Very objective and very clear.

Mallory Bovey ,

Mindblowing.

By far the most intelligent and engaging podcast I have found so far. It has taught me so many things about psychology (which by now I'm convinced is probably the most important field of knowledge), and changed my way of thinking on so many topics. Mostly it changed my way of looking at other people's behaviors and reactions, and helped me find empathy.

Thanks Dr. Honda for providing this enlightening, well-produced podcast every week.

I sometimes feel like I learn more about society and the human mind by listening to PIS for an hour than through an entire year of living among humans. I guess that's what being educated in Psychology feels like.
I would recommand this podcast to EVERYONE!
