News Extra- Recycling in Nigeria
Recycling is practised in many developed countries but it is yet to gain traction in this part of the world.
Recycling is believed to result in a more competitive economy and a cleaner environment and can contribute to more sustainable development.

Scavenging activities can reduce emissions of greenhouse gases by recycling inorganic and organic materials.
For news extra today, RadioNow’s Chika Agu examines the culture of recycling in Nigeria and some of the people behind it.
