Robiar Smith w w w . r b p e s t c o n t r o l . c o m Robiar Smith, a Chicago native, born and raised on the south side of Chicago was introduced to pest control at a young age by her dad. She never thought in her wildest dreams that she would be starting her own pest control company to honor her parents legacy. But here she is trailblazing in the industry of pest control. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Roosevelt University. She holds 2 Masters Degrees: an MBA and Masters of Information Systems in Network Management. Shortly after completing her education, she started working in IT and became a Professor at many universities in Chicago. She furthered her IT career as an IT consultant. She took on various projects such as technical training, instructional design, and implementation on projects for Price Waterhouse, Chicago Public Schools, and the Chicago Police Department. In August of 2016, Robiar persevered and passed the extermination exam after taking it several times. She made the conscious decision to discontinue consulting and teaching and hasn't looked back! Immediately after that decision, she started R.B. Pest Solutions. She included her maiden name in the name of the company in honor of her parents to carry on their legacy in pest control.
