How To Transform Your Life And Achieve Your Goals With The Faculty Of Perception - Part 3

How To Transform Your Life And Achieve Your Goals With The Faculty Of Perception - Part 3

    .................................
    FULL TRANSCRIPT
    .................................
Hi, I’m Pascale Gibon.  Welcome to episode 274 of The Everyday Life Balance Show. Thank you for tuning in.
The series on ways to develop the power of your mind to transform your life continues. I have covered so far the mental faculty of imagination and reason. And in this part three, I will introduce the third mental faculty to transform your life and accomplish your goals: perception.
Perception is a mental faculty that gives you mental strength.
It is the way you view things.
Imagine that you face a difficulty and fail to see how to solve it. When you develop your perception, you can transform your results because you choose to view things differently. As a result, this could mean seeking help or looking at the difficulty from a different angle to experience a breakthrough.
This idea aligns with Albert Einstein's quote that you can not solve a problem with the same level of thinking that created it in the first place.
Therefore developing the mental faculty of perception allows you to view things differently.
How do you operate when you face a challenge? Do you remain stuck? Or do you broaden your mind to other possibilities? Perception allows you to open your mind to a larger field of growth opportunities.
Let us look at a quote by Wayne Dyer: "When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change."
This quote implies that to create transformation, change your habitual way of thinking that does not give you desired results, and progress, it is necessary to change the way you view the situation.
Perception gives you a positive outlook and opens the door to new possibilities.
I suggest you do not ignore this mental faculty and use it as often as possible whenever you feel stuck in your life.
It builds mental strength because it allows you to keep moving forward.
In professional sports, the mental faculty of perception is highly used. Professional athletes, for example, are committed to breaking their records.
The ego will try to persuade us that some ambitions are impossible to realise. However, when we look at all outstanding achievements like breaking records, impossible means I am possible.
Would you agree that to transform their results and break records, professional athletes view things differently? They undoubtedly operate from a different perception, that of limitless possibilities.
The mental faculty of perception is a life changer.
Your action step in this episode is to reflect on the following question:
Should you feel stuck, unclear or confused right now, what do you need to see differently to get unstuck? In other words, how could you look at your situation differently? What else is possible? Or what other possibility do you see? I hope you enjoyed this episode. Remember, now is your time to transform your life one step at a time.
"When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change."
I look forward to connecting with you next Monday. Have a fantastic week, take good care and lots of love.

How To Transform Your Life And Achieve Your Goals with the higher Mind faculty Of Reason - Part 2

How To Transform Your Life And Achieve Your Goals with the higher Mind faculty Of Reason - Part 2

    .................................
    FULL TRANSCRIPT
    .................................
Hi, I’m Pascale Gibon. Welcome to episode 273 of The Everyday Life Balance Show. Thank you for tuning in.
How to develop the power of your mind series to transform your life continues. This episode is part two, and I will share the second mental faculty to accomplish your goals: reason.
In this episode, I want to raise your awareness of two principles:
The first principle is that you become what you think about. And the second principle is that success results from doing things in a certain way. Right reason is the mental faculty of having an idea that you expand and improve. In short, we can learn how to think the right way.
You cannot reason your way to success when your thinking focuses on why you cannot accomplish your goal. On the other hand, you can reason your way to success by considering how you can.
The mental activity 'how you can,'  opens your thinking to tangible solutions and resolutions.
Whenever you face a difficulty in life, you need to adopt right reason and think about how you can overcome the challenge instead of why you cannot.
My mentor Bob Proctor always used to say that most individuals do not think.
Since right reason is a life-transforming mental activity that takes practice, let us look at your reasoning.
Let us say you have a goal you wish to achieve, like improving your relationships.
The main question is: do you adopt right reason? In other words, do you think about how you can do it, or do you look for reasons why you cannot? Can you see how you can transform your results with the 'how you can'  reasoning?
You raise your awareness when the right reason is how you can.
I hope you enjoyed this episode. Remember, now is your time to transform your life one step at a time.
The exercise I recommend is to look at where you are stuck and think of how you can move forward from where you are. You will most certainly change your results with the right reasoning.
The most influential question for success is how you can and not why you cannot.
I look forward to connecting with you next Monday.
Have a fantastic week, take good care and lots of love.

How To Transform Your Life And Achieve Your Goals with the higher Mind faculty of imagination - Part 1

How To Transform Your Life And Achieve Your Goals with the higher Mind faculty of imagination - Part 1

    .................................
    FULL TRANSCRIPT
    .................................
In addition to our five senses, we possess six intellectual faculties:
Reason Intuition Perception Imagination Memory Will What differentiates successful people is their ability to use these six intellectual or higher mind faculties to achieve success.
Hi, I’m Pascale Gibon. Welcome to episode 272 of The Everyday Life Balance Show.
As you know, Bob Proctor was one of my mentors. I am listening, at the moment, to the audio version of his book "Change Your Paradigm Change Your Life." In the audiobook, Bob Proctor reminds me of the importance of developing our intellectual faculties to transform our lives, achieve our goals and create lasting success habits.
In episode 105 of The Everyday Life Balance Show, I shared the six intellectual faculties, and in this new series, I want to develop each faculty individually over six weeks.
The higher mind faculty I want to start with is that of imagination.
Albert Einstein said that imagination is better than knowledge. When you observe children, they are good at using vivid imagination. However, it is a challenge for adults. Perhaps others told you to stop dreaming when you visualise a better life for yourself.
During the Gold Rush, migrants who moved to America were full of hope. Can you picture how they imagined a better life for themselves? They used their imagination to visualise what their new life would be. They anticipated a better life and opportunity. The Gold Rush is the largest mass migration in American history.
If you set goals for this year, imagination is necessary to accomplish your goal. It is essential to start with the end in mind to get a clear vision and to know what path to follow. When you use your imagination to clarify your end result or see where you want to go, you can move forward confidently and take the necessary actions.
The etymology of imagination is an image and picture to oneself. Therefore it is necessary to better yourself. In other words, you need to see yourself where you want to be and then bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to be.
We often do not know what we want. However, when we set the intellectual faculty, imagination, in motion and it serves as a tool to create what we want, we become more confident that our wish can come true.
When you look at the things around you, realise that they are the fruits of imagination. There were first thoughts which then materialised on the physical plane.
If you have a new year resolution, I want you to write it down and do the exercise of seeing yourself already there, in other words seeing yourself as if you have already accomplished your dream.
For example, let us say that your goal is to reach your ideal weight. Your first action is to see yourself fitting into your chosen dress and internalising the emotion of accomplishing your goal and feeling radiant, fit, energised and on top of the world.
Another goal might be a change of career. Use your imagination to clarify your end result, your ideal job. To get your end in mind, imagine the following:
What are you doing? Who are the people you work with? What is your working environment like? Moreover, internalise emotionally feeling happy and comfortable in such a working environment.
We should not stop dreaming because the faculty of imagination that we possess helps us to progress.
I hope you enjoyed this episode.
Remember, now is your time to transform your life one step at a time.
To conclude this episode, start using your imagination to clarify your vision for your life. See yourself as if your chosen goal or resolution is already happening and internalise how it makes you feel once you achieve it.
Let us talk to set up a plan to achieve your most important goal this year. To schedule a complimentary “What’s Next” breakthrough call with me, go to pascalegibon.com/programmes.

    Happy New Year's Resolutions!

    Happy New Year's Resolutions!

    .................................
    FULL TRANSCRIPT
    .................................
As per my recommendations in episode 269, "How To Get Ready For A New Year, A New You," I hope you have welcomed the new year like a blank canvas and plan to have a colourful year.
Hi, I'm Pascale Gibon. A warm welcome to episode 271 of The Everyday Life Balance Show. Thank you for tuning in.
Other people are blasé about making new year's resolutions because they struggle with accomplishing their goals.
However, they struggle for the following reasons:
A lack of commitment. I learnt from John Assaraf that there is a difference between being interested and being committed to an idea. In other words, you need a high level of commitment to accomplish your resolutions. However, commitment alone is not enough. They are not motivated enough because they do not have a why. Or they are unclear about what motivates their decision. The lack of clarity leads to inaction. I am so glad I pressed the pause button last year to take a step back, review my activities and stop pushing so hard. You might relate.
A lack of focus. We make resolutions at the beginning of the year then we forget about them because they are not our focus. If they were, I believe we would put our energy into them. A lack of perseverance. Other people who set new year's resolutions and struggle to follow through might be good at starting but not finishing. As a result, they need to take into consideration all the points I have just mentioned. You cannot rely on old and ineffective habits to transform your results this year. You need to reinvent yourself and create new ones.
Therefore, to build new success habits, you need to check your commitment, motivation, focus and perseverance levels.
I hope these initial steps will help you start the year with great optimism as you strive to achieve your goals this year.
I hope you enjoyed this episode.
Remember, now is your time to transform your life one step at a time.
Let me remind you of your action steps to accomplish your goals:
Answer the following questions on a scale of 1-10 (1 being not at all. 10 being very much)
How committed are you to accomplishing your goals this year on a scale of 1-10? How motivated are you on a scale of 1-10? How focused are you on a scale of 1-10? This question means that if you lose focus, how committed are you to regaining focus? And lastly, how willing are you to persevere no matter what on a scale of 1-10? When you answer these questions, your results will let you know whether your new year resolution is a committed decision. If not, you might need to review your goal or goals.
I look forward to connecting with you next Monday.
Have a fantastic week, take good care and lots of love.
    Happy new year again!
Make it a balanced and powerful one!

    Merry Christmas Greetings 2022!

    .................................
    FULL TRANSCRIPT
    .................................
From my heart to yours, Merry Christmas! I hope you are having a great time with your loved ones, family and friends.
Hi, I’m Pascale Gibon. Welcome to episode 270 of The Everyday Life Balance Show.
This is the last episode in 2022, and I want to thank you for tuning in weekly to The Everyday Life Balance Show.
Since the new year is around the corner, I thought I ought to share five lessons I learnt this year:
I will start with gratitude. I cannot stress enough the importance of gratitude to live a powerful and balanced life. Even though you might have encountered setbacks and unexpected events this year, whatever the circumstances, it is essential to adopt an attitude of gratitude in life to open and expand your heart.  Whenever life looks like it’s about to crumble, stay strong and keep moving with a positive mind to pick yourself up. Remember that your thoughts create your reality. Do not hesitate to press the pause button to reflect upon how you are doing, being, feeling and thinking to move forward sturdily and pivot if necessary. Life is short therefore enjoy every minute and remember the most powerful and delightful moments. You are the creator of your life. Therefore create a masterpiece, and keep learning and growing. In addition, if you are wondering what the top three episodes of The Everyday Life Balance Show were this year, here there are:
Top of the chart in 2022 is the episode related to a quote by Andrew Carnegie called: Understanding Andrew Carnegie’s Definition Of Success And Personal Mastery. In his episode, I cover two definitions of success according to Andrew Carnegie. Episode number 2 in 2022 is my interview with Steve Preston, the Career Catalyst. This episode is entitled: Transitioning Into A New Way Of Working. In this insightful episode, Steve Preston distils how you can be a winner of the job market in the 21st-century digital age. And episode number 3 in 2022 is “Understanding Taking Responsibility For Your Life.” Other people think that taking responsibility for their lives does not make sense. However, this is the starting point to creating lasting and positive change in your life so that you remain in the driving seat and take control of your life. If you want to catch up, here is a breakdown of the main topics I covered this year on The Everyday Life Balance Show:
    I shared topics on:
Love Gratitude Work/life balance Personal success Perfectionism This year went in a flash! Enjoy the holiday season, and I look forward to connecting with you in the new year.
Have a great new year’s eve celebration, and may you have a prosperous, happy, healthy and peaceful year.
Remember, now is your time to transform your life one step at a time.
I look forward to connecting with you next Monday. Take good care and lots of love.

How To Get Ready For A New Year, A New You

How To Get Ready For A New Year, A New You

    .................................
    FULL TRANSCRIPT
    .................................
Do you agree that the time to start the new year with a head start is now, not January?
Hi, I’m Pascale Gibon. Welcome to episode 269 of The Everyday Life Balance show. Thank you for tuning in.
In my “Discover My Best Tips For A Successful Year” series, that’s episodes 136 to 145 I contemplated the idea of starting the new year on a blank canvas.
I love this idea of reinvention through creativity.
We must harness our divine gifts and put them to good use to live our lives powerfully.
Whatever happened this year is gone, and you cannot get this time back. The good news, however, is that there is always room for you to reinvent yourself. That is part of the magic of life?
Tony Robbins said: “One of the things that make us so special is our ability to adapt, to transform, to manipulate objects or ideas to produce something more pleasing or useful."
To start the new year on a clean slate, you need to clean your cupboard, so to speak, and decide now what you choose to let go of and not take with you in the new year.
An easy way to act on this recommendation is to look at what worked for you this year and what did not.
What is the new and better you emerging in the forthcoming year? To reinvent yourself, you need a clear vision and new habits.
Albert Einstein said: “Problems cannot be solved with the same mindset that created them.”
That’s why you need to take leadership of your life with a clear vision and new success-led habits.
Positive change through personal development is a communion with your best self so that you can live your life powerfully. Therefore, it entails effort on your part.
To activate your self-growth process, you need to commit to:
Letting go of what does not work Keeping doing what works Trying something new, like a new habit of growth What are you willing to commit to in the forthcoming year?
Take some time this week to think of the new habit or habits you are happy to introduce in the new year so that you already have a vision for your life and something to move toward.
When you create a vision for your life and have a roadmap, you know where to direct your life instead of being lost in multiple directions.
Jesse Itzler, for example, has an annual planning calendar that he fills in advance to include all of the activities he wishes to experience and, most importantly, how he will spend his precious time. His Big A## Calendar that helps you Build Your  Life Resume is a year in view to plan and dominate your year and works well for people who are orderly and love to plan things well in advance. Above all, it is a notable process for individuals who love to have fun, challenge themselves and do more of the things they love.
What does your vision for your life look like as you build a better you? My energy is high because I am on purpose. I am committed to increasing my leadership in the new year and creating new habits. These new habits will be related to giving more, improving productivity, and creating impact, but also doing things I love doing I have not done for a while, like dancing and singing or trying new things like cooking classes, for example.
What about you? What are your vision for your life and your business if this applies? What are the three things you commit to improving in your life? If three things seem overwhelming, What is the one thing you commit to improving in your life? A new year, a new you, means not repeating the same patterns that limit your happiness and progress.
It is about accomplishing your dreams and not just thinking about them.
It serves the purpose of improving the quality of your life and cultivating great relationships with others.
it’s about mind-body balance, improving your character and keeping in good shape with high energy levels.
    It’s about giving more.
What does a new year, a new you, mean to you? Now is your time to get
