I've got some fire for you today, but I also have a dose of heart, a dose of humility, a dose of authentic conversation that is guaranteed to pause, to put some pause in your day. Like I remember this interview with Tara and I was like, wow. She really mirrored some things that I was struggling with and I didn't even realize it. It was just kind of that refreshing in-your-face talk. So Tara is a boss babe, I've fallen in love with her. She's one of those women that you just go "yes, way to show up! Way to represent! Way to be a force for good, but also a force for being fierce and unapologetically going after your ambitions". So in this interview, we're going to talk about how to be powerful, profitable, and impactful in your business.

    Yay! Yes. Tara is someone who I met through an online event she was hosting and right away, I was just like, "this girl is different". So I had to get some time with you, Tara. And what I just, among many things, love about you, I love how on just on-point your posture is, I love that you just unapologetically are creating the life that you want for you and your family. You are showing other women they can have more and you truly are such an inspiration to me and so many others. So thank you for everything you're doing in this space and for being on today. We're so excited.

    Wow. You know what? You are welcome. You are absolutely welcome.

    So you keep rocking your bad self. So I wanted to be able to pick your brain because I have a lot of women that follow, mostly mompreneurs, but of course, we've got, you know, everyone is watching. But I have a lot of moms and female entrepreneurs who say they want more for their families. Right. They're sick and tired of the struggle. They're sick and tired of just trying to figure it out and it's not working for them.

    Goal Diggers, I know as you listen to this, that you probably have struggled with people pleasing at some point in time and, you know, finding your voice, it can take some time. Right? It can take some work. I find that it, when I work with women, one-on-one, it's often them not voicing their desires. Like they're almost afraid, right. Or to speak up. So let's talk about that. Let's talk about why pleasing everyone around you is impossible. It actually can be a bit destructive and it's a way that when you think about how you want to find your voice and stop trying to make everyone happy, let's shift your perspective on it. 'Cause I think we're afraid of the outcome of that. Right? But let's talk about why it can be destructive, how you can break this cycle of events. And then first let's have a listener review.

Now let's dive into this episode on stopping the people pleasing and finding your voice.

    So when it comes to being a people pleaser, I'm a recovering people pleaser. I grew up in a home where, you know, you were acknowledged or you have more attention when you did something well. It was expected to achieve, like I was just raised in that kind of environment. Okay. And I think, really looking back, like my parents always did the best that they could. Right. My mom was a single parent, we lived with my grandfather for many years. But what happened was, is that became part of who I was. I became a people pleaser in relationships, in work, with my family. And I found it very hard to speak my voice. So if I had an opinion about something or I wanted to disagree with someone, I found it very hard to speak.

    My greatest example is, let's say someone on your team does something that's inappropriate, maybe in a group chat, they're being negative. In the past, I wouldn't reach out to that person and say anything. I would just be like, "ahhh!". Like almost like passive aggressive. Just like, let it go. Right. Well now, because I've learned how to grab my voice and use it, I would reach out to that person privately and say, "Hey, just so you know, the group chat is for- needs to stay positive. If you need to vent or you feel frustrated, I need you to come to me privately". No big deal. Right? Just say it. But when you've kind of grown up a certain way or wired a certain way, then you, when you're a people pleaser, you are so afraid of making people upset. You're so afraid of confrontation.

She is a Six Figure Breakthrough Business Academy graduate, and when I met her, she had come off of her- well, she was just finished, and so when she got into the Academy, completed her second year of having the highest personal sales volume in her entire company. And it's not like a new startup company. Amazing. Could you imagine being number one in personal sales? And she has a specific strategy that she uses to accomplish these record breaking numbers.

    Thanks for having me. I'm super excited to be here.

    So Stacy, you're a student of mine. You're in Six Figure Breakthrough Business Academy. So I haven't had a chance to get to know you really well, however, you had just been crushing your personal volume and your business. So you were recently recognized for number one personal volume in your company. If you guys can guess she's with Color Street and I have my nails on today. My girl, Deena is like, "girl, your nails are looking a little naked. We need to fix that". I'm like, "okay". But with it, you 100, was it 105? 105,000?.

    Stacy Bowen:  
    It was a hundred thousand, and then like some change.

    Kimberly Olson:  
    I mean, in a year, you guys. Can I repeat that, 'cause some of you might not know. In one year, Stacy did a hundred thousand dollars in personal volume selling nail polish. Okay. Okay. Like, it's not like she's selling this high ticket nutrition program that's a thousand dollars.

    All right Goal Digger, for this training, we're going to do seven Girl Boss habits you need to implement now to get massive leaps in your business, and take massive leaps. So I have seven for you, I'm just going to drop them here with fire for you so you can be inspired, motivated and educated to take the steps you need to make a change. No matter what's going on right now, I promise you it can change if your business is not where you want it to be. If you're frustrated, because you feel like you've tried all the things, or you're just not getting the traction that you want, or you're really struggling to implement and take time to work on your business every day. I've been there. I've been there. I feel you. I understand. And it wasn't until I implemented all seven here, that I was able to 10X my own business and be able to get my business into the multi-million dollar level.

    Okay. Number one, you have to schedule everything. Okay. Those that are masters of their calendars are a masters in all things. I literally schedule everything. I schedule time with my kids. I schedule workouts. I schedule when I'm producing videos like this, when I'm going live, time with my team, sneak peaks for my team. I schedule time to meditate. I mean, all of the things. Now that might be like, "Oh, that's kind of lame", or "man, that sounds so restrictive". Well, I want to ask you if how you're going about your business and your life now, if it feels good to you and you're getting the results that you want, then keep doing what you're doing. But if not, wouldn't it make sense to potentially learn from others that do have that success and the quality of life that you want?

    I work less now than I did a year ago. I took off two months this summer and didn't work at all and was able to make money - a lot of money - during that time, because I was implementing the things I'm going to teach you today. Okay? So if you want the time freedom, if you want to be with your family, you want to be able to vacation and be debt free, and all of those things, you've got to become a master of your schedule. That was not easy for me. I did have to learn time blocking and had to be disciplined to do whatever was on my calendar. Right? I think we all have lofty goals when it comes to our day, we always think we can get more done than we can, right? But if we actually schedule it and really pay attention, like, "Oh, I needed more time for that".

    Or, "Oh, that didn't take as much time". Or you might say, "I really do not like to do a 5:30 AM Spin class. Let me try yoga at 4:30 in the afternoon. Okay? So it's trying things, it's reflecting, it's pivoting, but ultimately it's scheduling everything that you have. Number two is adopt daily non-negotiables. Adopt daily non-negotiables. I call them money, making activities. What are the things that you need to do in your specific business to move the needle and grow the numbers. You know, is it for you, you need to book consults with people. You need to run challenges in a group. You need to produce more video content like this.

Jazzed out of my mind right now, I can't even wait to hear what you all got in store today. This is what I believe. I believe success leaves clues, and I believe that if you study from the best, you will become the best. And that's why I booked some time today with one of my business besties. She's such a rock star. I'm getting to know her so well that I feel like when I meet her, I'm going to hug her and squeeze her into pieces. What's up, girl?

    Hey, how's it going?  Well, I'm very excited to be here. I'm honored. So thank you for having me.

    Kimberly Olson:  
    Of course. Oh my gosh. You are just a powerhouse, but we're actually very different. And that's one of the things I love about conversations is our personalities are different. The way that you just, your brand is Wildly Free. Like, you're just this, I was looking through some of your stuff and you were like being free, like wildly free life like sets you free, right? Like it's all about this just kind of movement that you've created. So we'll get into that, but I want to welcome you guys on. What is your Instagram?

    Kelly Rychart:  
    It's Wildly Free Life.

    Kimberly Olson:  
    Yeah. Wildly Free Life. Okay, cool. So we'll talk a little bit about that, but let me introduce you first. So why don't you tell everyone a little bit about who you are and what you do?

    Kelly Rychart:  
    So I am a mama of three kiddos and, I guess my biggest joy in what I do is just to really help women to really understand their worth right. And really tap into that uniqueness about them to help them just to set their soul on fire. Right? Like we hear you say that all the time. That was one of the reasons why you and I connected so well is because we both kind of feel that way about really helping to empower women and encouraging them to live their best life. Right. And so that's really what I love to do, but I also help to teach and educate women on using products that are gonna help them to be healthy and also live their best life that way as well. So there's a few different things that I do, but that is what I'm very, very passionate about.

    Kimberly Olson:  
    I love that. That is probably why we clicked right away. 'Cause I, I didn't really know you. And once we got to talking, I was like, "I love her, where's she been my whole life?". Like, we're just, you know, like energetically magnetized to each other. So you're top earner in your company.

    All right, so let's talk about the Cold-to-Close Method and how you can actually take a very cold lead, warm them up and turn them into a hot prospect. Throughout this process you need to qualify them. So, if you've never heard that term before, it's a marketing term, a sales term. And when you hear that term, what that means is are you able to make sure, what are you doing to make sure that the person is even qualified? For example, let's say you sell a weight loss system that is $399. And you're talking to a single mom who doesn't work. She's on disability, and that's her only source of income. She's probably not qualified. It doesn't make sense to sit there and push and tell her why she needs the system to lose weight, if she's not financially stable to be able to make that purchase. Okay, that person's not qualified.

    Or if you reach out to someone and then you go on their profile and realize they're in your same company, they're not qualified. Okay? So through this process, we're going to qualify them. We're going to warm them up and then we're going to close more people. So the first thing I want you to do, is I want you to be different. I want you to be different, just like Wonder Woman. Okay? I want you to be different. I want you to be bold. I want you to offer value. I want you to lead with your heart and serve, let go of the outcome, let go of the whole push to close the sale. I just did a group coaching call inside of Six Figure Breakthrough Business Academy, which is my higher level coaching program. And one of the girls was like, "I need 10 recruits this month.

    Like, how do I do that now?". I'm like, no. You cannot recruit 10 people in this month right now, unless you've done all the things we're talking about leading up to this, right? You've gotta' let go of that energy and that vibe because when you come at it like that, you push away the exact thing that you want. How many can relate to this, really pushing at the end of the month. And you're like, "Oh, I gotta' get those sales". And then you don't because you're so- you're trying to make it happen. Okay? So, what you want to do is you want to be different. Surprise people, shock them, ask them about themselves, ask them questions, find out what's going on in their world. You know, if you are in the health and wellness space or the beauty space, ask them questions around that, ask them about their businesses, ask them what they do.

    Ask them, anything. Ask them questions about themselves, fact finding to find out pain points. When you offer value and you don't just go for it and pitch people. I mean, I just had a girl who messaged me, inviting me to her private events. I've never even talked to her before. It was like, really? She sent the link. She didn't even like ask me. I was just like, "she needs my trainings". But we want to be different.
