    Episode 13: Meredith McKeough on The Virtue of Hope

    "Blessed are you who believed that what was spoken to you by the Lord would be fulfilled." Luke 1:45 "In days of trial, rekindle your confidence. Recall that God has promised his aid to those who persevere in prayer. You should pray to Jesus like this: 'Yes, my God, precisely because you delay in answering me, I have hope you will hear me, and the more you reject me, the more I will surrender myself with greater trust and ardor in your paternal arms.'" Welcome to Episode 13 with our first guest of 2024!!! Meredith has been one of my best friends since my sophomore year of college, and her friendship is a testament to the fact that the Lord knows exactly when to place people in our lives. It all started with a road trip to the SEEK conference, and the rest is history!! In this episode, we dive into the virtue of hope, what it has meant to us in our lives, and how it is a virtue that we must cling to daily. We discuss hope in suffering, how God can turn our worship with doubt into hope, what hope deferred looks like, and our most favorite Scripture passage and saint: The Visitation and St. Elizabeth and how we can look to her as a model of hope in our long-suffering.     Episode 6: Gabby Brabner on Living in Our Belovedness

    It's so good to be back!!! After a break from the podcast while at camp and transitioning back to school, it is an absolute joy to welcome our third guest, Gabby Brabner! Gabby is truly one of my dearest friends and makes me a better woman every single day. We knew of each other last semester and would see each other around our Catholic center, but it took going on a mission trip together for the Lord to incredibly bless me with the gift of this friendship. And the rest is history! It is so evident in the way Gabby lives her life that she abides in the Father's love for her and then lives from this love every single day. She shares with us her touching story and what it has looks like for her to live as the beloved and how we can practically live in our belovedness in our daily lives.
