EPISODE 30 – Rest In Power Dil Dabbins
This episode has been a tough one I’ve gone to do it a couple times and it just never happens; this was a chat I had with the Late Great Dil Dabbins, months before he passed away. For those who don’t know Dil, he was not just a TOP bloke he was an underground Grower in Australia who was balls to the walls. He kept us all inundated with constant updates of his gardens on Instagram his psychedelic adventures and epic bong rips!!! In this episode we sat down and chatted about what it was like for him to have that all taken away when he was raided by police.
Sadly, since the episode was recorded Dillon took his own life. I attended the funeral and it was a lovely service. Dil was a young fella from a country town and a proper aussie larikin in all the best senses of those words. It was a beautiful service and he left his small community devastated

In this episode I chat with Resham Tolani the Clinical Pharmacist for Cannabis Access Clinics Australia a group of medical professionals based out of Sydney who are helping patients across Australia decipher the confusing world of medical cannabis. Working with a myriad of specialists, doctors, researchers, patients and GP’s. Cannabis Access Clinics helps navigate the ever-changing medical landscape working closely with the TGA. Cannabis Access Clinics are focussed on helping doctors and patients navigate the regulatory pathway for prescribing medicinal cannabis products in Australia and New Zealand.
This chat was a really inciteful look into just how far the Australian scene has come in a short time. Resham was a delight and her enthusiasm was infectious. I left the conversation feeling really hopeful for patients in Australia. Yes there are some issues that need to be ironed out but it’s a better place than I thought we were at.

So this episode I was invited to be on a live Youtube channel panel hosted by the delightful Tara Lee a Lovely lady who is a medical patient and cancer survivor. Her only real exposure to cannabis has been since her diagnosis and initial prescription. Tara has built up an amazing library of videos with all kinds of canna celebrities and trend setters. Joining us on the panel is Joy another Cancer Survivor. Both Joy and Tara Lee are super active members of CannaBuzz a social network app designed just for the cannabis community. And fellow Aussie Cannabis crusader Dan the Audiophile. So I play the guest in this one and at times it gets a little wild, with four people all sharing the same virtual space. We cover a range of topics local and foreign. It was a real honour to be invited on the show and I really appreciate the love and support from Tara and the Cannabuzz family.
